Group type: Online (Discord - Type text only. Voice used only to answer questions that are too long to type) w/Avrae
Experience: Any, but have at least a basic grasp of the game (What the dice are used for, How a game is played, etc)
Location/Timezone: Central Standard Time
Schedule: Saturdays from 5PM - 9PM CST
Roles sought: Two players sought (Current Party: Rogue, Bard, and sometimes a Cleric)
Game style: a mix of roleplay and hack n' slash. There is a story here and while it involves a lot of adversaries, there is some focus on character growth.

A murder. A smuggled artifact. A strange power that has been gifted upon the adventurers that has only just awoken. A brewing war that will make the Last War look like a tea party. Can the adventurers put a stop to this, or will thy be just another casualty of the Lords of Dust?

Hello all, I am the DM for a game running every Saturday. Due to real life obligations, a few of my party had to put the dice down, but I need two more to pick them up and roll with us. A few things about me:

• Been playing D&D since 2001, back in 3.5, and have enjoyed every edition since.
• Kind of a forever DM, and thats okay with me, I settled into it.
• Currently run 3 fifth edition games, one each on Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Run with open minded groups, as long as you're with us, you're family.

What Im looking for with this post:

• Two players that want to play and have a good time. It's a serious game, but it's all about having fun. So serious but not so serious that you should feel nervous playing.
• Players that can make the scheduled time. I don't mean every single time without fail (We all have lives outside of this) but something more frequent than once a month.
• Players that have some grasp of the game. Just the basics is fine, but due to the nature of it being text based only, it will REALLY slow things down if I have to explain D&D in it's entirety. Just have a grasp of how a D&D game goes and we should do fine, I have no problem helping along the way.
• Players that are respectful. There is no need for things you would see on a rpg horror stories page, so no **** or weird stuff of that nature. Also, being respectful of your fellow players. We all come from various mottos and creeds, we all came here to relax and have fun, and I intend to keep it that way. Open to all, LGBT included (Because, to be fair, I don't particularly care if you or your character are or not, as long as your character can swing a sword or cast a spell :) )

Tools we use and how we use them:

• Discord/Avrae: Our bread and butter. Used to describe whats going on, dialogue, and combat tracking. Fully integrated into DNDBeyond.
• DNDBeyond: For...well...obvious reasons. Also used for saves and checks if you want to use that feature. I have access to all the books except a few adventures.
• Roll20: Used only for a few of the features, chief among them the maps. I absolutely abhor the character sheet features and don't use them. Also use the jukebox for ambiance, and plan on eventually using the handouts features. Also Dynamic Lighing is enabled, so on approriate maps you'll see what your character can see!
• Google Docs: A little more rare for this to come up, but sometimes visual aids are a bit more....wordy than what I can use with Discord, so every once in a blue moon I'll have a link to a document I typed up thats necessary for the story.

Sorry for this being so wordy, but I like to be completely honest and forthcoming to my players up front, so everyone knows what to expect. The party is level 4 Milestone xp, and if you are interested, let me know what race and class you'd like to go, a brief synopsis of your character, and a little about you. Hi I am interested. I would play a human Paladin. He was a renowned fighter and adventurer but after a brush with death and metaphorical resurrection from a druid, he has become a protector of the Green and is using his martial prowess to protect it. Why he's on this specific quest can be worked out later. 

As for the man behind that man who's behind a shield, I've had experience with DnD over two full campaigns and one that ended midway. I currently DM every other week.

Hello, I am interested. I'd like to play a Human Ranger. He is a retired investigator who is trying to figure himself out after losing his old crew during a peculiar case involving a high-value relic. Along his travels, he's made a travel companion with a small drake that just follows him around. (Note: I am willing to tweak details if needed.)

I don't have much experience playing D&D (About 5 combat sessions & 3 sessions attempting to DM), but I have a fair grasp. I learned about D&D about 3 years ago. 

I am currently free from Wed-Fri 2:30-9 PM and 1-10 PM on Sat.
