Game: D&D 5e, and some other titles Group type: Online Experience: New / a few years / veteran ... yes, all of these we are looking for and have in community Location/Timezone: Multiple, mainly state side, but some folks all over Schedule: See details of the following post(s) Roles sought: DM / Player, yes both....always...of course, for everyone, silly. See details of post below. Game style: Lots of different, hack'n slash through lazerrrrrz....pew pew
Hi, I'm looking for players to join a few of our games in our D&D Discord community. The current need is as follows:
1. 5e Spelljammer/Planescape/Forgotten Realms game —running Mondays at 5PM CST— Every player is also a DM, and we rotate DMs every few weeks to run a continuous lore building story about a multi-planar corporation including space faring pirates, plane hopping merc squads, and dungeon diving artifact hunters traversing different crystal spheres/planes/regions for each DM's "arc". It can go wherever and be anything depending on each DM's choices. Its basically low-pressure extended one-shot to multi-shot micro campaigns stringed together with a continuous and expanding lore and crew of experienced player characters. Currently, each person added to this game will need a level 4, a level 8, AND a level 20 character. The specifics of the need will be determined by the GM on duty. It might sound intimidating, but due to our crew thusfar, we don't required experienced DM for this, in fact about half of this growing body aren't (7 player/GMs right now). So its all easygoing; as long as you're willing (with ample warning and lots of available brains to seek help) to prep and run a one-shot or two, you're good. Ideal for the working folks that can't commit to a long campaign as well.
2. The second game is a straightforward 5e Tomb of Annihilation campaign —running Sundays at 1PM CST— homebrewed and upscaled for 10th-16th level. It's at a higher level than usual since we've played through most of two campaigns with the party before a few players' schedules blew up, so we're doing a soft-reboot with some of the same party members, bringing back a few homebrew story elements/plot threads/NPCs of the previous campaigns to haunt the new one.
3. Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden: Party has 5 players presently playing bi-weekly on Thursdays at 7cst. Players at 6 lvl. The style is light, solid RP with robust backstory hooked sessions.
FYI, our community runs everyone new through a quick interview/screening/scheduling/tour process before we add 'em. This is just to make sure everyone's cool with the rules and isn't a bozo.
