Hi. I'm a lonely solo looking to join a group of likeminded individuals in a DND 5E game. I've played only one full campaign and DM'd a oneshot so I guess I'm fairly inexperienced, but I'm looking to learn and improve my RP as a player.
I quite like watching Arcadum's world and would love to experience an adventure that empowers our characters and improves them over time. Ideally in a campaign where consequences are real and there is abundant lore as opposed to your typical hack and slash adventure. When there is combat I'm looking for a really challenging fight with multiple party members being downed if played carelessly.
I'm based in the UK and can play most evenings past 8PM and on the weekend at any time. My preferred campaign would be something darker like Curse of Strahd but homebrew is totally fine. I'm not really interested in running any of the beginner adventure books (Mines, Icespire, Icewind Dale, Tiamat, Hoard etc). Platform wise I'm fine with FoundryVTT, r20 or whatever else you might have.
Age wise I prefer a 18++ group but with a fairly relaxed tone - memes and laughs are great, I'm not really looking for serious high fantasy with strict lore where any mistake such as pronouncing the Elvish word for toast with a slightly longer vowel is immediately crucified.
