New player overall, hoping to find group to play with

I'm 27 and I live in Florida (Eastern Time).

I've only ever played D&D once before at a friend's place with a loaned character, and fell in love with the game since then. Haven't had an opportunity to play again since then (they live 3 hours away).

I hope to find a group with a little patience for a new player. Thankfully I learn quickly, so the learning curve is not too bad. I have a player handbook on hand, if needed, and two sets of dice.
