Looking for Players in Norse Homebrew Campaign | LGBTQ+ Friendly and New Player Friendly | EDT/EST

Game style: RP-heavy with light combat, story-focused, no voices required but welcome, and looking for people who are willing to play during the late night time; in a universe similar to Baldur’s Gate in the Forgotten Realms of D&D 5e.  

Summary of the campaign:
“In days before men walked Midgarđ, the Nornir carved a dark prophecy in the roots of Yggdrasil. It told of Ragnarök, a dark day for gods and men, as a great war between the Aesir and Jotun would be fought. As a result, both the gods and men would be brought to the brink of extinction. Midgarđ would be set aflame and become home to the fire giant Surt and his kin. Long has this prophecy stood and long have gods and men known of it. All fear the day of its coming, but who can defy fate? Even the gods have proven unable to change that which has been written in Ygdrasil's roots, what hope have mortals? Such is the common wisdom. Recently, however a band of necromancers, monsters, dragons and abhorrations have taken it upon themselves to transcend the gods to change fate for themselves, regardless how many bodies they have to step over to get there. It falls to a fated group of adventurers to either join them in stopping the fiery fate of the world or to curb their bloodthirsty, ruthless methods. Whatever their choice, a grand adventure lies ahead of them.“ 

I’m the girlfriend of the DM and am playing a Variant Feral Tiefling Bard posting this ad for him. We do have have a party of 7-8 players but due to conflicting schedules for work, school, and sleep, we can’t get anyone together on the one day the DM is available to run a session, leaving only two to three players available to actually play as well as leaving the campaign up in the air. Multiclassing and homebrew races are allowed, but should be discussed with the DM beforehand. The only for-sure players we have is myself, the fraternal twin of the bard, the rogue and the wizard. We are flexible on people coming and going, only able to stay for a certain amount of time, put their characters on the shelf, etc.; we hope to play as much as we can to progress the campaign along. We want to keep the party as manageable as possible, so it’s not too terribly heavy with characters and not too crazy for the DM, since this is his first campaign he’s running. We don’t mind if you’re newer to D&D or have been a veteran, as long as you understand the game - and if not, we’ll guide you as best we can. We are all mostly older than 18, but we do have a couple of younger players, so as long as you’re fine with mature themes, we should be all good. We are also a safe space for any who are of the LGBT community, and welcome you to join our game as well. The roles we have taken up are: Rogue, Bard, Paladin, Warlock, Wizard, Druid, Ranger, and Barbarian (kinda). Play test races, multi-classing or subclassing is allowed, and the DM has access to all content so you have multiple options for character creation should you join the campaign. We’re playing at Level 5, with a server on Discord to track game rules, in-game lore, character art, and character sheets and rolls through D&D Beyond. Roll20 is an option for maps, but currently only doing D&DB and Discord.
