West Coast of the United States group PST Online game using Roll20
First off this is a futuristic Sci Fantasy Setting... This is not a paid game.
Now that that's out of the way, salutations travelers... My name is Brett, I am a ~30 year old man, LGBTQ+ friendly, dogowner, husband and I have been dming for about 3 years now consistently and have been having a world setting knocking around in my head for over a year. So I finally went about setting it up! I hand picked a group of my best friends and good players I have happened across in my time of online dnd, and we got a time that works and group. Alas, we had a person drop, so that's where you come in! I am excited to meet you! Hopefully you are a player who: -Likes to roleplay... I love improv and so do my friends, so the more you speak up and interact the better :D -Is good at going with the flow... I know the rules for 5e forward and backward and don't need much ruling assistance, Also I homebrew my own monsters so you wont need a monster manual... it won't help you :D -Wants to make a unique PC grounded in my setting with a story we will unfold at the table together... I love weaving your story into the fabric of my world. Specific Npc's to your history ? love em! Artifacts you are searching for? Lets put it out there. A villain stalking you from the shadows? I would be honored to make them truly villainous. -Is punctual... Life has its challenges and we will accommodate, but please be respectful of the time I, and the other players have allotted. -Is excited to play! Nothing breathes life into a game like excitement and enthusiasm.
Awesome, now that that little bit is done. Here is a little about the world. New Corrinth is a world where 2000 years ago in the peak of civilization a massive tragedy occurred. The sun died. Trying to fix that, the Immortal Emporer Marcus Aurelias Drevian, created the New Sun. A sun made of pure arcane power that is tethered to New Corrinth continuing to provide the world with energy and warmth. However, the region where that arcane tether runs through created a 100 mile wide belt around the world. The belt changed the mineral, vegetable, and animal life of New Corrinth in the region. The settlers since the collapse of the Drevian empire have called this region the Void and the creatures within , Voidspawn. Hunters set out to gather scavenged material from Drevian Ruins, a vast and merciless wasteland, and some braver souls venture into the Void to hunt and scavenge. These individuals are known as the Voidhunters. Now if you have read all of this please, leave me a message that tells me a bit about you, your experience with dnd and your reason for wanting to join my game. Make sure you put a text emoji in your title so I know you read. I will be interviewing candidates before I choose who joins. Until then I hope you have a wonderful weak and I will talk to you later aspiring Voidhunter
My name is Bean. I'm 22, and been playing D&D for about a couple years. I've been on a long hiatus since quarantine and looking for a fun group to play with online. I've always loved rpgs and telling a story with friends. I have a lot of improv experience. I'm not one the get caught up on rules and would much rather have fun and go with the flow. Obviously the DM is The Rule God, whom I defer to. I have a lot of creative juices ready to go and love the idea of creating a character that I can make a part of the world. New Corrinth sounds fascinating! I've never tried a futuristic sci-fi D&D setting, so I'm very excited to try it out.
My schedule is currently very open for D&D sessions (quarantine really kills any social life). I look forward to talking with you! Feel free to message me on here.
This sounds like an awesome campaign and I would be interested in joining. :fox: I don't know how to add emoji's on the computer :(
My name is Dyno. I'm 21, and I started playing D&D when I was around 19. My other group stopped playing for reasons, so I've been looking for a new campaign to jump into. I'm the kind of player that likes thinking of the most creative solutions to puzzles and combat, and I also like to homebrew my character. I like DMs who play by the rule of cool and allow me to flex my creative potential. I also live in PST and am available to play on the weekend or Wednesdays, though I'll probably be available for Fridays soon. Like I said before, this campaign sounds awesome and I feel like it would definitely be something that would break the mold.
