Lone dude looking for a group to join a 5E game

Game: D&D 5e
Group preferred: Online is all i really expect, especially with covid and whatnot
Experience: I'd consider myself fairly acquainted with 5e, though I have little experience in game. Haven't been lucky in finding a group unfortunately. 
Location/Timezone: I'm in the Pacific time zone, Nevada.
Availability: I'll admit, having a part time job does interfere with plans quite a bit, but i usually have one of the weekends off, and even then my shifts tend to be early.                            TL;DR somewhat inconsistent but weekends and adjacent I'm good.
Preferred role: Player, dear god i dont have much experience as a player i could NOT be a dm yet.
Game style: Prefer a more casual game, though i wouldn't object to roleplay as long as it isn't just an excuse for players to enact romantic fantasy.

I have already invested a bit into resource books in dnd beyond, but honestly im not spending over 700 dollars just so i could play a tortle.                                                                                      If you think i could make a fit just respond and we can talk on discord after exchanging info.
