"The world of Aerayon is a dangerous place. After centuries of hiding North of the Blue Mist Mountains, humanity seeks to learn more about the South. Because the King is not willing to send soldiers far South, his court is willing to pay any brave explorers handsomely in exchange for detailed maps and accounts of the world beyond the Mountains. Aerayon is filled with unknown horrors, however. Whether the benefits outweigh the possible costs, it is up to you."

        A Westmarches is is heavily player directed, with heavy roots in exploration and information collection. It is mostly player led, where they ask a DM if they are available and schedule a time. A player could potentially play every day with a Westmarches. Dungeon Masters simply provide the details of the world as the players explore. Players are not tied to groups, and can for factions of their own.

       I am the Admin of the server, and am looking for players as well as DM from a variety of different time zones. The style of game is very drop in/drop out, so if it doesn't suit you, you can leave at any time.

       There are a few fun homebrew systems within the game, such as rules for crafting, downtime, and guilds. We are still early in our proccess, so you may have to wait a few days for everything to be ready, but it is worth it.
