Hey, I'm newish to DnD (played a bunch of 4th edition a few years ago) and wanting to do some DMing. Looking for some players (5 players at most). I live in the UK, so GMT is my timezone. I'd be looking to DMing the Lost Mines of Phandelver (starter set) to begin with, and then after that we can decide as a group what to do next. The game will be run through roll20.
I'd be into playing, depending on what time you'd run it. I've got some 5E experience and have played with new GMs, so that's not an issue for me. Shoot me a message if you're still looking for people.
Yeah, the starter set is designed for new players. You won't need to purchase anything. Just have a read of the basic rules. What sort of time would you be available, Qrut? LukMan, your timezone might make things a bit difficult.
I'd also be willing to join! I'm completely new to the game, but I've been doing some studying from what I can get. I've never done anything like this, so this is a really exciting experience to be learning about the game. I can do Saturdays 5PM - 12AM GMT time, as well as Sundays 10PM - 12AM GMT time. Weekdays are a bit iffy for me, because I have school, but I might be able to finagle a schedule out of it.
I'm completely chill with a new DM, and I hope that I'll be able to play with you! Please respond in some form (this forum or PM) so I can know if I'm selected to be part of the group! Thank you for being open with this!

P.S) Is it possible that a group voice chat outside of Roll20 could be made? It seems to me that talking out stuff flows a lot more fluently and would be more reminiscent of actual real life D&D. Just a suggestion though!
Slimmeh_Slime, yeah, sure you could join us. I suppose we could use discord or something else if needed - although the maps and tokens will be on roll20.
For those who are interested in joining, I should be able to start running the game this week. I was thinking of making the first session around three hours long: 6pm to 9pm GMT (the times are open to negotiation). Any day is fine for me, so please state which days you'll be available this week (at the mentioned time).
If there is still space, I'd be interested in playing. I've got a little experience with 5E but mainly from the DM side of things and would like to try it from a player's point of view.
I would absolutely love joining you guys. But my computer is at uni so i unfortunately cant join this week. If someone drops out, however, or the session is delayed i would love getting a word from any of you, and do my best to join at a later date! I don´t have a whole lot of experience, but i am willing to fill any "needed role" in the party.

I should be able to make it (at those times) any day except Saturday.
I should be able to play around Friday at those times.

Still might need another couple of players for Friday 6pm to 9pm (GMT)
