About the Game.
All the games I run are set in my homebrew setting of Olvanya. The world is deep with lore and Gods all crafted and created by me and my players. I already have two campaigns running in the world, and this will be the third, added alongside them. One thing to note - this is a persistent world and the actions of your characters may ripple and affect the other campaigns and vice versa. You are not just paying to play a game of D&D - you are paying to inform the world of Olvanya itself. Upon joining the campaign, I have a few pages PDF to share with you that will introduce you to the continent of Akhrin-Tor, where you'll be playing.
Players will be starting at level 4 with an expectation of completing the campaign at level 20, after some time of course.
All official content (YES, including Aarakocra) are allowed, UA is allowed - but please discuss with me first to ensure you won’t fall behind in power level, or steam too far ahead.
I will also state, that the games I run are heavily homebrewed, not just in the setting, but how flowing I am with rules. I stick to the rules as much as possible, but I am here to provide a safe space for players to explore their creative ideas and I have offered homebrewed items, races, classes/subclasses to achieve a potential story a player wants to tell.
What to expect.
Payment for games is as follows:
£15 for one session.
£50 for four sessions.
We will have a session 0 (no charge) this is for a few reasons. To help get to know your potential character, to introduce you to the world and for us, as a group, to mix and get to know one another.
TIME: Thursdays 6pm BST
When you are happy and sign up, you will get access to my ‘LegendKeeper’. This will be provided so you can read about the history of my world and the many Gods that make it up. I have had symbols for my Gods commissioned, as well as my major Guilds. I always try to invest the money from my games back into the world to ensure it is fleshed out at a professional standard!
Parting words
Payment for D&D can often be seen as controversial - this is my dream, and the money and time I put into this campaign is more of that of a normal job. I put hours into making the maps myself and paying for certain Patreons to ensure I have access to the most immersive maps/assets/scenery.
You are also paying for consistency, games online can start with such a roar and end in such a whimper as people get busy or grow apart or the campaign becomes stale - payment ensures that we are all committed to this group and to this campaign.
