Hello!

We're an established group playing Homebrew adventure. I'm a new DM seeking 1 new player that I can add to our small group of 3.
(Note new player, not just a player. I'm looking for an inexperienced player that is looking for a group that is learning together.)
My players are currently at level 5. We are taking turns trying our hand at DMing a sea-themed adventure! You don't need to DM if you don't want to, but if you want a safe environment to try, feel free! We're all new too.
We are trying to improve on our roleplaying, so we break out of character alot but trying to become more comfortable with it.

We're online only over discord and play using Roll20, and most of us use Dnd Beyond for our characters and rules.
We're playing using (MT) timezones and play Saturday evenings at 7:30pm until midnight usually, with one short break in the middle.

We are all new at playing D&D, except for one veteran player. We're very casual and joke around alot. This is my first year DMing and hoping to find new player for my anxiety sake lol.

About Me: Relaxed, easy going person, can add some slight humor for a group but to the point of annoyance. I love watching and playing D&D, have for the last 2 years now though i only have about 6 months of experience under me I'm decently familiar with Roll20 and have met great group and people on this website.

Preference for group (DM): Great story telling capabilities, doesn't need to be perfect of course, mix between Rp, Exploration and Combat in a balanced setting, and finally DM is able to use all the Characters' backstories in a effective, fair manner

Name: Kalib Romane

Race/Class: Half-Elf/Rogue (SoulKnife)

Age: 21

Backstory: With his Mother and Father working themselves to the grave, he was left alone poor along with his little sister, the town wasn't fond of any Half-Elves or race alike based upon recent acts of War between Human, because of such hatred, their Ruler of the Town ordered all Half-Elves to be captured and thrown out. Meanwhile a Riot struck out and the town of those who disagreed sought to fight back with little to fight with, easily overran by guards and taken forcibly onto a Large wagon, The guards had separated Kalib from his sister during the scene. Kalib managed to disarm and impale not 1 but 3 guards before brutally knocked out, Imprisoned later beaten by many methods of torture. The Ruler of Town (Name can be given if discussed privately) ordered for Kalib's Execution a week after the riot as an example for those who want to defy his commands...But instead the Ruler had other plans, he declined his death and made Kalib his personal Dog. Kalib would be ordered and sent out to various lands and collect Bounties, then return, No questions asked. Kalib took the freedom of such work to not only earn the little coin he was offered without negotiation but in search of his little sister, and one day Kalib sought to seek revenge to the one that not only gave him a second chance, but the one who took away his first.

P.S. Any revising the DM sees fit for my characters' backstory is fine, just as long as it's discussed with my hearing on it please. Thank You
