Preferred role: Player
Game style: Roleplay and story driven
Hello! I'm Rachel (she/hers), I'm 27, and I have been playing D&D consistently for over a year now, and I have been roleplaying and writing creative pieces for far longer. I still consider myself to be learning here and there since I don't have as much experience as other players my age, but I have a decent grasp on combat and other essential game mechanics, as well as Roll20. I would love to find another long term, roleplay focused group. Preferably I'd like one that's accepting of LGBTIA+ people like myself, and who values collaborative storytelling. I am down for any kind of campaign as long as it is 5e. I'm not very interested in parody/"Monty Python" groups, or extremely rules heavy groups. I'm more interested in compelling narratives, descriptions, dynamic characters, and world building.
If you are curious about my playstyle, one of my campaigns is streamed and uploaded onto youtube, and I'd happy to find and link you to it and give you a good timestamp. We have only been in combat once so far though since we are extremely roleplay based, so, keep that in mind if you are interested in seeing it.
Additionally, here are the characters I have played so far:
Sarya -- skeleton spore druid, Dungeon of the Mad Mage (3 months, ongoing) -- she was once an elf, and her lover died of old age. As he began to decay, so did she, despite still being very much alive. She is now out to seek revenge on those who disturbed their resting place.
Hana -- human bard/sorcerer, Curse of Strahd (heavily homebrewed) (4 months, ongoing) -- she is the runaway daughter of the noble Vallakovich family. She is a highly empathetic and fiercely determined person who is determined to overthrow her father, as well as bring down Strahd.
Dore -- goblin scout, Descent into Avernus (partially homebrewed) (1.5 years, retired) -- she started off as an escaped slave from a nomadic orc clan who just wanted to live a normal life among common people. She ended the campaign as a hero, and living her life as her own person.
Anyways, I'm not sure what else to put here, except for the fact that I have an elf twilight cleric I'd like to play, but it's by no means necessary. If you'd like to talk to me over discord, please DM me or comment and I'll add you. Thanks for your time!
