I am a 1st time DM looking for 1 player to join our group of adventurers. We are entering our 3rd Session of The Rime of the Frostmaiden published adventure. Our group has been together for over a year. This is our 2nd adventure together, our DM from the 1st adventure is a player in this adventure and I am trying my hand at DMing. One of our players had to jump out for personal reasons. The recommended number of players is 5-6 since this can be a particularly difficult adventure. I would like to fill the gap they are leaving behind returning us to 5 players while keeping a slot open for them should they be able to return. Players have just hit level 2 so whoever jumps on board will need to roll up a level 2 character and I will work with you on building their backstory into the campaign and building you onto the team. Current Players: A High Elf Wizard, A Goliath Paladin, A Human Warlock, & a TBD (This player has asked to be the last to choose a Race/Class to keep maximum options open for any incoming player). 

I am interested however I am a new player to D&d but I have watched a few campaigns. Do you mind taking on a new player? If not I understand.
