Game style: Persistent world, with a mix of exploration, investigation, combat and roleplay. The amount of each will vary with the session/mission but I can usually adapt w/e I have planned to fit parties play style.

Lore:

A half year back Lady Elriza Daressin began to expand her reach outside of Snowdown. At first the prevailing powers along the Sword Coast paid no mind to the vampire's ambition, but as time went on the area continued to destabilize and the conflict began to affect the main land's interests. In recent months, these events have come to a head, and it has become clear the once quiet ruler of Snowdown has grown impatient with her agreement with Amn and has found new, more nefarious allies.

The powers of The Sword Coast have formed an Alliance under the mantle of Waterdeep and the Goddess Mystra to combat the growing threat. A group of adventurers has been assembled to form a vanguard and cut a path for the main force. Their success could allow you to have some of the comforts of home, but their failure would instead require you to capture and create a forward base of your own.

As a soldier you will be able to join various one-shots and short campaigns (3-5 sessions) that support the war effort and return stability to the land. The content and tone of each one-shot or short campaign will vary, but each session will likely run 3-5 hours (multiple games per week to join). The success or failure of these missions will have a lasting and sometimes permanent impact on the world.

This will phase of the world will likely kick-off in early August, but I would like to get the ball rolling now so we can get a nice variety of people. I run at least 1-2 or pick-up games per week so definitely add me on discord if you are interested and I'll shoot you a server invite.

This man has actually created a persisting world in which multiple parties are doing different campaigns at the same time throughout the week; he even has connected each and every one-shot to the rest of the world. Sage is a absolute mad-lad of a dungeon master. 

We currently have 3 campaigns all being run in the same world with 3 unique parties; Curse of Strahd, Elriza's Stand, and Book of the Raven- all of which are effected by the choices other players make in the world whether it be in one-shots or other campaigns. If you're looking for a connected universe where your actions can affect other PC's in the same world as you that aren't even in your party, this is absolutely the place for it!
