I love playing a ranger and would love to play Out of the Abyss. Have never played it and would love to find a combat loving party and a DM who has run it before to lead us. I play on roll20, but down for another platform if others might be interested. Weekly, biweekly, whatever would be down.
Any interest?

Heaven doth with us as we with torches do, not light them for themselves.
I DM an ongoing OOTA campaign running right now with 5 players on Roll20 and may have room for a 6th. We play every Wednesday at 6pm - 9pm CST and are about 1/3 the way through the campaign with everyone being at 6th level and I expect that we will continue for another 6 months to complete. OOTA can be a dark and suffocating campaign. The materials provide a basic framework for running an Underdark adventure, but it also requires a lot of creativity and a bit of going off script to run it well.
Do I have to buy the book for this? Because if not I might be interested. Preferably on Fridays or Saturdays at around 3 pm est or 20 pm cet. That works for me. If that doesn't work it depends on the length of the campaign. As for the next 2 months I am free whenever. I am a new player though
No you wouldn't need to buy the books, just as long as one of us has a master tier level subscription. I have the dndbeyond digital version of OOTA and can share that with everyone on the campaign through dnd beyond, just as long as someone has a master level subscription.

If you still happen to be looking for potential players, I'd love to join. I've actually played a bit of the module in the past and really enjoyed it; sadly though our group had to stop playing to due scheduling conflicts and our DM wanting to focus on another campaign (that I also happened to be in). This was a few years ago now so I don't remember much, only that I enjoyed the gameplay despite its darker themes.

Hey @madcar_1 - might you be interested in running it again after the current party finishes? Sounds like there are a lot of people interested.

If you ever find a group, and willing to except another, this sounds fun.
Possibly, I've run it twice now, and this time it's gone a completely different direction. Can be a fun campaign.
