About the game Tomb of Annihilation (ToA) is designed to begin with a party of four to six 1st-level characters, who should advance to 11th level or higher by the adventure’s conclusion. The players are drawn into the story by Syndra Silvane, a retired adventurer and merchant who, years ago, was raised from the dead. Now, she’s withering away. When she consulted priests, Syndra learned that the affliction was widespread and that no spell could cure it. She spoke to her friends among the Harpers, who determined the source of the affliction: an ungodly necromantic device called the Soulmonger. The Harpers received their intelligence from a lich, but they don’t know much about the Soulmonger other than its name and general whereabouts. Adventurers willing to help Syndra must travel to Chult, a land of jungles and monsters, to find the Soulmonger and destroy it.
Session Zero Before we start off the actual campaign, we will be holding a pre-session were we will create characters, get familiar with Foundry VTT and get to know each other a little bit. This is also a great opportunity to explain why the characters are together, how long they’ve been together, and what they’ve been doing before session one.
About me My name is Johan (him/he), I am 30 years old and live in Sweden. I started playing D&D almost 3 years ago but never had a group that could play often so I started running my own games. I am still fairly new to the role of DM. I have run a couple of games both online and face-to-face and my total experience as a DM is roughly a year or so. This would be my first time playing D&D in full English so I am both nervous and excited about that. I work as a nurse in one of Stockholms largest hospitals so therefore I am unable to have a persistent schedule every week. Therefore, I am going to need players who are very flexible.
Requirements to play: A webcam is not mandatory to play in my game but I highly recommend it for better role-playing. However, a good microphone is needed.
We will be playing using Foundry Virtual Tabletop (VTT) and Discord for voicechat and video. Foundry VTT is, in my opinion, a great software for online d&d gaming. I provide the players with a link and then you play using a web browser of your choice. No installation needed.

Intro: Hi I'm Dylan, I've been playing 5e for a few years now and am currently enrolled in college as a biology major.
Experience/Playstyle: As I said, I've got roughly a few years worth of experience with 5e, both as a player and a dm. I like to roleplay, I'm a talker in my games so that's just generally what I lean towards. Though I don't have any issues with combat/exploration.
Availability: Monday morning/night, Tuesday-Thursday morning, Friday afternoon. All in CST.

At Basic Training strangely, one of my friends there ran a small campaign for us through basic and it was one of the things that got me through. I'm a somewhat experienced player, I haven't played a huge amount but I'm familiar with the general stuff, rules, character creation, actions and all that jam. The main draw to groups for me is the story telling, world building and character development as well interactions between players and npcs. I love to be creative with my characters and often use some homebrew ideas but do my best to keep them in line with the balance of vanilla assets and always have stuff approved by the DM before using. Generally have story arcs and outline stuff mostly planned for my characters as most are based from stories I have/am writing so if that type of thing is open I would love to share some ideas and help plan some stuff for the future of the campaign! If the group is just looking for a pure vanilla character I can do that too. I'm not very educated on the lore and different settings for the official campaigns but I'm currently writing a book about a half-vampire girl that is used as a living weapon by humans against vampires and would love to get to use her in a campaign if the setting is appropriate!
Edit: Playstyle is pretty much anything. I can play what the group needs but the character I have in mind is fit for fighter or barbarian, fighter being the more fitting I think.
