Hello, I am the New DM and I host The CRIT CAST PODCAST. I am a host of a small but growing actual play podcast, we are currently in the first chapter of IceWind Dale Rime of the frostmaiden. The small group of friends is well established but we need a few more fun, energetic, RP positive, easy going, and team players to join the ranks. HOWEVER, THIS WEEK ONLY, WE ARE RECORDING tonight (Tuesday) at 7pm if you would like to join. I will be interviewing before I ok everyone, it is for the sake of how play styles and mics sound. We use Discord to Voice Chat, ROLL20 as our VTT (Yes, you have to make your character on roll20) and Syrinscape app to listen to ambience and music. THERE WILL BE NO MORE HOMEBREW CLASSES AND RACES. NO SPOTLIGHT HOGGING, NO MURDER HOBOS.

Hey there! I'm super excited to see a monday evening game cause that fits perfect for me!

What is your experience with 5e? Been DMing for about 5 years. I've run several long term campaigns and a few that never took off. I've created several homebrew worlds and games as well as played a few book campaigns. I run a few Play by Post games also and am currently in one game on Sundays. 
An example of my own work is a Legend of Zelda Campaign that i ran with friends and recorded. its Amateur quality but the content itself was super fun.

What do you look to get out of a session of D&D? I love intense combat and Great RP. I've gone through a few sessions where we never even rolled for combat because the RP was so amazing. which if your shooting for podcast i feel like is much better overall. I love being tested with tough fights and difficult situations. 

What do you want out of a group of D&D? Honestly just a fun group that takes the game serious but not TOO serious. As long as the party is having fun i'm usually happy. I dont ruleshark and am very go with the flow. As long as im not with a bunch of complainers i'm enjoying myself.

What do you want outta a DM? Give us a challenge. Commit your actions and dont hold back. I'm always willing to sacrifice my character if it means the story will be better. Give you an example i had a player who destroyed another players bag of holding which contained a few Tomes she has been collecting over the years. It started probably the best quest chain and some of the most intense RP I've ever had in a game and its because we didnt backtrack it when the player got "Screwed over" by another player. 

What do you bring to the table as far as a player? I'm creative and love to RP. I'm going to come up with weird plans and attempt them which should be entertaining for a crowd. I'm pretty charismatic as a person IRL (I do sales for a career) and love to bring that same energy playing games. With that being said i know when to take the backseat and encourage players more to get that spotlight. I'm a team player, Great strategist and am overall a really relaxed person to game with.

I'm new but know the bare min and I am really just looking for a fun first game, I am exited to be a part of any campaign as long as I can at least once. I may not bring much but laughs and memories but I'm ok with basically as much of a dark theme as you have I don't work Monday so its a perfect time.

Question Answers: I'm fine with all and roleplay is something I've always enjoyed. whether it be heavy or light or whatever. I think i could bring a humorous and joyous vibe to the game even though I've never really done anything but you have to start somewhere. i want a serious but not too serious group of honest and likable people. Just a group that has fun and laughs with each other. I want a DM that makes me feel like I'm apart of the world. One that's not too fixated on forcing ideals and points. one that gives the player actual freedom. As in what i bring to the table, I'm mainly someone who goes with the flow. I can be creative and give some entertainment to a crowd. I love to bring energy to the table and i know when to tone that energy back to respect the others im playing with. Everything else is up to you to decide. Im also down for anything, gore, horror, alcohol, etc.
