Our established group (of males & females 22-40) is spread thin across multiple games and schedules. We are looking to add new blood to the mix and are looking for a single player to add to our games at the moment. This particular game is played from 7-10:/11 (EST) and looks like it will be on Monday nights until any major scheduling shifts occur (read: have some occasional flexibility). Our group tends to play like an episode of Critical Role, high rollers, DCA, The C Team, or Acquisitions Inc so if you are familiar with those, you know what we are like

 While we enjoy having players of all types and experiences, this slot will have a few restrictions to best fit the game and chemistry of players we have in this one… tldr: we’re looking for someone with decent experience and speaks English well into a real microphone / webcam. ( ~ I’m talking to you Mr.Man who is destroying our ears over AOL dial-up with his mom’s hand me down Compaq Presario mic from the bargain bin at the dollar store circa 1998.😉.). 

• Our games tend to be more of the RP side. Maybe 30% combat, 30% exploration, and 423.67% Role Playing. I’ve watched these players spend 2 sessions in a tavern Just role playing their asses off and having a blast or have a 2 session long epic boss fight. We do stupid fall out of your chair laughing, and we’ve made each other cry. It’s a ride.
• With RP, comes spotlight management. We don’t want a wall flower, but we don’t want a white knight who hogs the scene at every chance. We want a confidant role player who can think on their feet and RP, read the flow and roll. Someone who can put the players in the game before themselves when needed but also themselves before the others when appropriate.
• We would welcome anyone college age and up ~Not from any bias but scheduling with younger folks is usually difficult if they have parents / schools to answer too. Our group has players all over this range so do not worry.
• Attendance! If you can’t commit to making 8/10 games or more please skip this post. We all put a lot of time in and while we understand life happens, we like to play more than not.

This may sound very picky, but we play for life and finding the right fit is important. The last person we picked up off DNDbeyond was over a year ago and they still play in multiple games with us every week. I believe there is a table for everyone, I just don’t believe everyone belongs at every table.

• We have a few small homebrew rules, you wont care I promise.
• I don’t care if you roll your own dice or online as long as you’re consistent.
• We tend to play on Roll 20 or Foundry VTT, and discord
• We will be playing a sore of homebrew adaptation of candlekeep mysteries that ties them all together kinda ;)

Hail fellow well met!  I am Vega (24M) and I am a real human  with decent experience (a few months), speaks English, and has a real, genuine microphone / webcam.  I am an enthusiastic role player that enjoys getting into character, creative solutions, and supporting others at the table. i would love to join your game! I'm Alex, 44 (pronouns : him / he). 

Have played D&D since the days of OG dungeons and dragons (i still have the boxed sets somewhere in my mom's home). Have been a DM for much of that time, but recently got back into being a player and love it! 

I'm a huge fan of Critical Role due to its mix of RP-ing and epic combat (the season 2 finale was AMAZING!!!), so this sounds right up my alley. I have tended to a more combat / tactics-focused playstyle in the past (partly due to being a DM) but i would love to do more roleplay and build out a backstory for my character. This is also perfect timing as i'm taking a sabbatical for the next 4-6 months so can definitely commit to Monday evening sessions.
