Reason for this post: I'll been a forever Dm for 10+ years now running three games(two inclusive lgbtq+ game & kid's game i run i at my childrens hospital) a week. I want to be a player again an explore other peoples creative versions of their homebrew worlds or even some set in any dnd settings. I m feeling during this pandemic am edging close to dm burn out an need to search for a game i can re energize myself by being a player.
We are looking for a possible game on: MON,WED,THUR,FRI 1-5 pm or 7-midnight est
a bit about me : I'm Brandon he/him 37 grey ace . I'm peds ortho : robotic prosthetic specialist so given my career path. I feel am pretty creative with my mind an given my exp in dming/larping for so long. I can give any table a great co-operative player that can think on their feet an has been around enough to know how to boost/assist the other players around them an know when to give the others the spotlight. I'm here for the story an am big on lore so i try to explore every plot hook to the fullest. I m a patient an supportive person in rl an in game. I m totally fine making any character the party needs. I m here to rise up the group an hopefully gain some friends in the end. I also have a friend Ravn 28 they/them that is looking to be a player as well. They have been dming their own homebrew world an working on publishing theirs soon and was looking a game to distress an have fun.

Hello, I'm a cisgender male, a veteran gamer who is relatively new to DMing and am currently running a game that is mostly online. I started the game but a friend joined in as a co-dm. That game will either be wrapped up or rebooted soon and we (my co-dm friend and I) have been discussing looking for additional players. The game is currently run from 7-10 on Fridays. I can't speak for my friend but afternoon games sound intriguing if the group would be interested in an hour intermission for me to go get my children from school :) In the very likely event an intermission is a no-go for everyone, I can look into other solutions with my wife.
If Friday is the only day that works, we would have to figure out your interest in joining an existing game that is being brought to an end and then figuring out options from there. Or, alternatively, I can discuss with my friend interest level in ending the campaign early (which would be sad) or rebooting. I haven't discussed anything with him yet but the statements you listed that your group live by read like great statements to adopt for any group and prompted me to reach out. I'm very interested in exploring more collaborative approaches with multiple DMs with a single group of PCs and the old-school roles of DM and player being blurred/merged a bit.
After saying all that - the bottom line is we are at least two, maybe three, looking to expand our group or merge with another.

Hello Sherconshadow, I discussed our conversation above with my friend. He suggested my group use tomorrow to wrap up the current adventure and then we all schedule a "session 0" to discuss a new game. Would that work for you and your group?
