Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online (discord) Experience: Any Location/Timezone: PST Schedule: 4:30pm PST (pre game) 5pm PST (actual game start), Fridays, weekly Roles sought: Player1-2 Game style: casual, hardcore, roleplay
Honestly i can explain this but just check the campaign videos and watch one play session. If your interested after that then post below your character idea, and the players would be happy to pick who joins. Current party is a changeling bard, and a dwarven paladin.
Player(s) will be chosen on Thursday the 1st of July.
The world has been ravished by heros and villians of both genius and idiocy. From groups like the Time Phornicators who managed to destroy the entire timeline and become minor gods after barely surviving a full war with the duergar. To the Rejected Potential who constantly try to avoid fighting the gods, and just want to rule their kingdom in peace, to which they are currently warring with another major alliance led by a demi god. Welcome to a fully homebrewed world in which the DM has created pages upon pages of world lore that no one ever reads and everyone dies because of. Ran by a Dungeon Master who the players call the Dark Souls of DnD games.

Ok, watching the most recent video posted now. What level character should I build, point buy or rolled stats, or does it matter?
Character so far,
Damakos Valhind
Bladesinger Wizard
Was a simple soldier involved with an war battalion of eladrin, their entire regiment however was wiped out with his commander ordering him to never give up the fight as he fell, Now he vows vengeance on the controllers of the opposing army and hopes to find any remnant of the army he was once a part of.
That's just story background, I can fit it to the story as needed and elaborate on details as I find them out.
Build a character who is good at what they do and be prepared for extremely challenging fights. Creativity saves lives.
Exact definition: Min Maxing is lowering something to the minimum, so you can maximize something else to the maximum, and typically doing that across the board. Optimizing is different. Optimizing starts with a character in mind, and then creating the best possible set of stats and abilities to fit that character
Hey there, I'd be interested in joining. I enjoy the idea of a tough campaign, and I like min/maxing (i'm building excel sheets with formulas and whatnot). Caveat: see my experience below.
Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online (discord) Experience: I'm relatively new. Been playing a few weeks but prior to that I already knew the general sense of DND. Despite being new, I'm pretty decent with math and always like to min/max in most things I play. Location/Timezone: EST Schedule: Friday PM should be fine generally speaking. Roles sought: Player Game style: casual, hardcore, roleplay
Character concept: Aerenal high elf Samurai Fighter/Hexblade Warlock wielding crossbow. High DPR. I have a build planned all the way to 20. I can provide backstory if desired. I'd be curious the other partymate's gear, strats, spells, proficiencies though so that I could plan to complement what they have (or what they could complement my build with). *Edit* Given the paladin (redkimg) had chimed in on team: My skills are highest in dex ones given that's my #1 stat. B/c of my noble background and samurai, I have proficiencies in all the conversation skills (persuasion, deception, intimidation). Warlock I use only for buff/utility. I have a flexible ASI slot for a feat such as ritual caster if we need it.
Well, my character idea is a Tiefling Cleric. As any person who knows what a tiefling is, then they know that they are mistreated, judged, and not trusted. Many tiefling take this different ways on how to handle with it. My character (Mymphis Friggin) chooses to follow a deity, I dont know which one yet. He wants to make people trust and respect him as someone that will help at almost any cost. He is fine with interacting with people, but getting "attached" is harder.

Level 4, rolled stats using dnd beyond, and homebrew is allowed fully just oked by me. Min max is recommended, and max hp always.
I like the vids, interesting way to DM. If I may ask what lvl are the characters currently at?
As for character idea I'm thinking a Half-Elf Rogue and depending on lvls maybe multi--classed as a Wizard. I'm known as TannTalas#1515
what is Min/Max, I have heard it before, but never asked what it is

Where do I post the character for review?
