Experienced DM Looking for Adventurers who dare enter Undermountain - Saturdays 8pm EST

Hey there, I'm Billy and I'll be your DM this evening. I wanna see if maybe we could get a solid little group together and play our way through this. I'm a very experienced DM, been playing since the mid 90's, and playing 5th edition since release. I work as an artist and love doing custom character and monster art for my games as well.

A bit about my playstyle so I dont waste your time and you dont waste mine. I like to start right away, so I ask that if I'm going to run the game - just show up on time. And please please please, if you cant make it - don't wait until the last minute to bail on us. Not cool, and honestly its disrespectful.

Also I know its not always possible but I'm asking for players to have an idea of what they want to do on their turn. I realize combat can change in an instant, but for the most part just planning your move will make the game go a lot quicker.

Please be comfortable RPing in character. I realize this is mostly a dungeon dive but there are PLENTY of RP opportunities as well. I do voices and all that stuff. I just don't wanna have to work to drag out any dialogue from your character.

And last, while I understand there are a lot of new players I'm not looking for new players here. Im totally willing to take time to teach in my other games, but this mod requires a lot of extra work from the DM, and its just one more thing to weigh me down with, and I want to have fun too. So please know 5e, and please know Roll20, and please know Discord.

All that being said, I'm much more of a loosey goosey DM than those previous paragraphs suggest and I'm all about having fun, and maybe even making some friends along the way. I've just been burnt too much by people quitting after a session or two, bailing at the last minute, even trying PvP nonsense in the first session. I just have to put out firm boundaries and rules so I can still enjoy the game as well. Thanks for understanding!

I am very interested in joining. I have been wanting to take to the under mountain for quite some time. I’m a 5e veteran have been playing D&D for quite some time. I live in EST and am flexible on availability. I’ve been trying to find a much more consistent and well round group and am very comfortable role playing.

So, I am somewhat new, but I do know how D&D's work since I did one a while back, but it got kind of abandoned. But other than that, I don't know too much. I know how to make characters, and I know how pretty much everything works. But yeah, still fairly new. I am available most days, but preferably weekends. Name: Kalib Romane

Race/Class: Half-Elf/Rogue (SoulKnife)

Age: 21

Backstory: With his Mother and Father working themselves to the grave, he was left alone poor along with his little sister, the town wasn't fond of any Half-Elves or race alike based upon recent acts of War between Human, because of such hatred, their Ruler of the Town ordered all Half-Elves to be captured and thrown out. Meanwhile a Riot struck out and the town of those who disagreed sought to fight back with little to fight with, easily overran by guards and taken forcibly onto a Large wagon, The guards had separated Kalib from his sister during the scene. Kalib managed to disarm and impale not 1 but 3 guards before brutally knocked out, Imprisoned later beaten by many methods of torture. The Ruler of Town (Name can be given if discussed privately) ordered for Kalib's Execution a week after the riot as an example for those who want to defy his commands...But instead the Ruler had other plans, he declined his death and made Kalib his personal Dog. Kalib would be ordered and sent out to various lands and collect Bounties, then return, No questions asked. Kalib took the freedom of such work to not only earn the little coin he was offered without negotiation but in search of his little sister, and one day Kalib sought to seek revenge to the one that not only gave him a second chance, but the one who took away his first.

P.S. Any revising the DM sees fit for my characters' backstory is fine, just as long as it's discussed with my hearing on it please. Thank You

Are you still after players? I'd love to join an experienced DM and really want to be able to role play more in games. Myself and one other player are really keen and can commit to Saturdays at 8pm UK time. If the gang is full please keep me in mind for any cheeky one shots :)

Replied on Roll20, but figured I'd drop a line here as well.  I'm a reasonably experienced player who is looking to jump into a second Campaign.  Saturday's at 8pm actually works perfectly for me (I'm CST, but not a big deal - my other group I play on Sundays is EST already).  Hope I make the cut, but good luck with the Campaign either way
