”I don’t know how else to say it, sometimes it just feels like this whole place is going to hell”
The Archduke of Avernus, Zariel, has concocted a scheme that could tip the scales of the eternal blood war in her favour. All she needs is a near endless supply of mortal souls. Her eye has fallen on Baldur’s Gate. And the only thing standing in her way is you.
Descent into Avernus starts as a grim detective story, and slowly transforms into an insane, action packed journey through the most heavy metal setting in the forgotten realms. It’s both a grimdark exploration of corruption, and an action packed ride through a crazy setting. In short, it’s going to be hell.
About the DM I’m a writer, film maker and long time DM, who since the pandemic has made DnD my full time job. It’s an opportunity I’m incredibly thankful for, and one that has allowed me to express myself and build a wonderful network of friends. I currently run four other paid campaigns, working with players to make a fulfilling experience for everyone involved. I’ve spent many hours building a fully decked out foundry server including custom maps, music, automation features, animated spell effects, dynamic active effects, and who knows how many other immersive quality of life improvements to give you the best possible online experience.
If you’re feeling brave and want to find out what you would go through hell for, Get in touch. I look forward to adventuring with you.
I have been a player in Baldur's Gate: Decent Into Avernus campaign run by ScribeOfVost for almost a year. During that time games have run consistently and on time, what's more, ScribeOfVost puts an immense amount of work into attention to detail, character development and story and general quality of gameplay experience. I have innumerable fond memories of characters in the world, their voices, personalities and their interactions and journeys with our player party. The game has been both hard and fair, and there is an everpresent risk of death - this is Avernus, afterall.
It has been my great pleasure participating in this game, ScribeOfVost's passion for his work is unmissable. I will not hesitate to snag a spot in one of these games, and already looking forward to the next adventure.
