Looking for interested DM or group beginning a campaign
Hi,
I am extremely new to D&D and have only one session of experience with a group I just joined. However I have been creating characters for the past few days and there's this one character that I really like and am looking for a good campaign for this character.
Character name: Aranya (Female Glasya Tiefling- Rogue/monk)
- Orphaned since age 5
- Street urchin surviving on scraps and helped other urchins like her gather food
- At age 11, was captured and sold to a child trafficking ring
- However, a rich, kind man from a faraway land bought and took her in. She resisted and cried for a month but the man was patient and tried helping her
- Society still did not accept her, so man kept her hidden, without many others learning about her
- All this time he trained her to be his assassin as he was involved in shady circles
- Age 15- One day, their house was raided by man's competitors and he was killed. Aranya hid in the house during this and survived, but was broken when she came out a day later and saw everyone dead.
- Since then, she has devoted herself to becoming an assasin and taking out those guys, going and training with monks to hone her skills with deadly precision
- 5 years later, she tracked and eliminated his entire organisation without anyone ever knowing anything about her except that everyone has heard tales of a hooded "Rakshasi". She has never revealed that she is the one.
- After killing him, she has been wandering and helping orphans everywhere
- During the 5 years of training and after killing the competitor, she has been travelling the world and training with monklike focus as well. During most of the day helping orphaned children, and other days/nights tracking down evil people and eliminating them as "Rakshasi".
Reason for going on a campaign: to maintain her cover and/or the campaign takes her near one of her next planned target bad guy. Could be other reasons as well, I'm open to discussing.
Please reply on the thread if you have spots for a campaign which can accomodate my character (I'm open to changing few aspects about her story and characteristics if required)
I have two spots open for a beginner's long-term campaign where we will be teaching the ropes. It will be held on Wednesdays from 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm EST via roll20 and discord. The campaign is in Faerun, The Forgotten Realms. I have been playing and DMing D&D for 40+ years. We will be doing some short "classes" at the beginning of some sessions to discuss the game rules being applied that day. I meet with the players individually to help in the character creation and backstory from concept to getting the character ready to play.
If anyone is interested please PM me here or reply to his post.
