Game : Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition

Group : Online either say on Roll20 or Foundry if preferred, Discord for voice

Experience : Relatively new but have some experience

Timezone : I am in Arizona and my friend is in Serbia, hence our time window for starting a session.

Availability : 10:30 AM - 12: 30 PM  MST for possible starting times at most a half hour later. We are happily up for a 3-5 hour session.

Role : Players

Gamestyle : We are looking with priority given to two modules,  Odyssey of The Dragonlords or Icewind Dale : Rime of The Frostmaiden , but are open to other modules, we more or less just want to enjoy a D&D5e game. We both enjoy heavy RP but also enjoy combat, we like a good balance.

Hiyo , me and my friend are hoping to find a D&D 5th edition game to enjoy. The above modules are the ones we are most interested in but we are open to other options as players. My friend DMs a lot of Pathfinder as well as a Grim Hollow campaign so he would like the chance to actually get to be a player in another game. I on the other hand of course just want more experience with 5th edition overall and it works as a nice break from Pathfinder 1E which requires considerably more work. We have quite come to enjoy 5e much to our surprise coming from Pathfinder and we are hoping we might be able to find a kind soul willing to host a game for us.

The possible starting times are due to our jobs. His ends not too long before the first possible starting time and i myself work night crew so the latest starting time can go up to 1 PM due to my friend needing sleep eventually and for me needing a little time before heading to work to get ready and all. We would like to play for 3-5 hours if possible.

As far as the modules go, for Odyssey he wants to play a monk half satyr while i would like to play as the essentially phalanx fighter from the module...possibly as the frog race. Or just half-elf. For Icewind Dale, he isn't sure what he wants to play yet though for me i would like to play as a half-elf monk using a monastic tradition from the Grim Hollow Player's Guide called Way of Pride, a subclass built around having an ego and putting on quite the display. Silly honestly but i like the idea and i would probably play it for any module other than Odyssey.  I am also of course willing to provide the material from Grim Hollow since due to being one of the backers i have pretty much paid for it several times over. It's quite balanced and many of it's subclasses are very unique and worth a look.

We would prefer the game to be free to play but we wouldn't be opposed to a possible charge of say 10 dollars max a session. Still would prefer it free to play due to financial circumstances.

My friend hosts a Grim Hollow campaign that i am in, and we have both played Mines of Phandelver and we are currently in a Ghosts of Saltmarsh campaign as well. That is about the extent of our experience. So we are still relatively new. We definitely still have a LOT of modules or adventures to play still. Honestly can't wait to enjoy more.
