D&D Beyond
Hello! I'm a fairly experienced player of 3 years looking to try my hand at DMing for the first time. The setup is that you learn about a facility creating and selling counterfeit magic items, and you need to take it down and reclaim the gold they stole from unsuspecting buyers.
Party will start at Level 3 to get archetypes out of the way quickly, and we'll be using a Milestone Advancement/Point But System. The adventure should take about 2-3 sessions, depending on a number of factors. We will be using Discord to chat and Roll20 for the map; because of the latter, I strongly recommend players download the Beyond20 browser extension so I can see DnD Beyond rolls on Roll20. It's not a requirement, but it will make my job a lot easier. Please have a working mic for the chat; I don't think I'm a "how do you wanna do this?" type of DM, but the beginning and end of the adventure will have some roleplaying.
I'll be available to play on Friday/Saturday from 6 P.M to 10 P.M, Eastern Standard Time. The adventure will begin on 8/13 (ha, ha, Friday the 13th, get it out of your system).
My server is LGBTQ+ friendly; anyone caught making homophobic remarks will be banned from my server, no questions asked. Also, this campaign will feature themes of loss and slavery, so anyone who feels uncomfortable about those subjects need not apply.
Since I'm rather new at DMing, I ask that players be kind to each other, be kind to me, and try to pay attention/plan your turns while others are taking theirs. Let's all respect each other's time and not make each round of combat take an hour to complete.

I have played and finished a DnD campaign before called Frozen Sick. I am currently playing CoS with some family. The character I would like to play is a Dragonborn Barbarian with a partially-developed backstory as an investigator background. Although, I do have some other Characters in mind if it is not desired that I play as a Dragonborn Barbarian.
