Seeking new friends

Game: D&D 5e
Group preferred: Online
Experience: I have a few years under my belt
Location/Timezone: Cali- PST (GMT-7)
Availability: Friday evenings anytime past 7pm-midnight. Saturdays(any time) and Sundays from 4pm-8pm
Preferred role: Player
Game style: Hardcore, Roleplay, Hack'n'slash.
Preferred character class: Wizard(Necromancer or order of scribes) Cleric, or Fighter.

Some general statements about me.
I'm in my 30s (He/him)
I'm a military Vet.
I have a kid, so be forewarned he has priority, (the wife is second :p)
I keep things short, blunt and honest.
I'm LGBTQ+ I don't do romance
I enjoy a good mix of roleplay and hack n slash. Puzzles are not that much fun for me, then again I may have just had bad luck in the past.

I would like to make some good friends out of this, even if we live across this vast world. Seriously let go on an adventure and tell heroic tells of grandeur. 
Ideally I'd like to play a starter campaign levels 1-5. Then after we get the feel of our characters and ourselves we go live and start streaming. I think it would be a lot of fun. If we do stream I will cosplay ^_^
