LFG - New player - USA central - Mon/Tues

Hi! My name is Danielle. I'm new at D&D and this will be my first time playing. The only real experience I have with it is listening to podcast (Dungeons&Daddies and NADDPOD). I know these are comedy podcast so they uses the rules but not follow them to the letter (especially daddies podcast). I've bought a few dice and made a character but I'm not sure on my character details. Any help with solidifying my character details or letting me join a campaign would be amazing! Thank you!
