[Online] [5e] [BST] [LGBTQ+] Room for one more ?  

congratulations ! you have stumbled across a beautiful and wondrous post by the most humble being on the planet, who just so happens to be searching for a new group to gatecrash- i mean join as a player.

here’s a little bit about me~

my name is koa, a 21 year old student in the UK and i go by he / they in terms of pronouns.

technically speaking, i’m not brand spanking new to the world of D&D as i have joined a couple of groups in the past, and even played a session 0.

not to mention i have to listen to my siblings rave about their own sessions in the two campaigns they’re in, so there’s a lot of second hand experience there.

despite that, i would still consider myself pretty new to the mechanics and roleplay side of things, but i’m perfectly comfortable speaking up when i’m unsure of anything, and will pick up the swing of things extremely quickly.

now for the good stuff; what i’m looking for~

i’m after the full 5e experience, but don’t really have a preference in terms of the type of adventures involved.

if you’re reading this as a DM, first of all, hi how you doing, second of all, i’m personally into all types of adventures. for example, campaigns that stick to the original fantasy format, whether they’re official D&D content, slightly tweaked versions or even a completely homebrewed / self-built campaign, or something that strays from the typical fantasy and includes elements of steampunk or cyberpunk - basically if you have an engaging and interesting campaign, i’m all ears.

percentage-wise, i’d say i’m looking for at least 50% roleplay and 25% each of combat and exploration, but i’m flexible in terms of what the general consensus of the group is ! as long as you’re interested in the around the same ratio, we’ll get along.

i would prefer a group who share the same or similar age-range as myself, as i personally find it easier for everyone to connect - BUT please don’t shy away from messaging even if that’s not the case ! i don’t wanna be putting anyone in a box here~

another important thing to mention is that i don’t want to join / form a group who are only active when we have our sessions. no siree, i’m after a group of people who wanna form friendships on top of that; who will shitpost and sit in a voice call in between sessions and just dick around and have fun.

as for timezones, people in and around GMT / BST are most likely to grab my attention, as i am a student (unfortunately) and can’t afford to be staying up until 4am playing D&D with people all over the world, as much as i would love to do that.
