Explore lands and cultures both familiar and fantastical! Like the untamed wilderness of the Duchy of Karameikos known as the kingdom of adventure,or ride through the grassy planes of the Ethengar Khanates where spirits good, grey and evil are mundane, or engage in high-magic shenanigans and deadly politics inside the Principalities of Glantri and its various cultures, or takes sides in the Cold War between two great empires: The militaristic Thyatis and the magic-obessed Alphatia.
Mystara is filled with adventure, cultures familiar and fantastical, where the players can shape the world as adventurers, then rulers of vast domains, and perhaps ascend to the ranks of the god-like Immortals like others before you have.
Will you answer the call to adventure?
Hello! My name is Rusty, and I am looking to add max 2 players to my D&D game. This is in light of one player having dragged to the military, and the other having to focus on work and studies. This game is LGBTQIA+ and Anti-Racism safe space. Bigotry, intolerance and discrimination will not be welcomed or tolerated.
The type of players are ones who are able to attend regularly, who are enthusiastic to play, and who are respectful and kind to others. The game will likely be played on either Thursday/Friday at 8-9 PM Eastern European Standard Time, or GMT +3. If you can attend those time regularly, you are welcomed no matter which part of the world you may be in.
If you are interested in applying, post an application in the comments using the highlighted format.

Preferred pronoun(s): He Experience with TTRPGs (as a whole): Bit of experience, played a french variant called Le Donjon de Naheulbeuk, and absolutely love this type of adventure
Experience with D&D 5th Edition: Absolutely none, I have been spending the last week slowly creating my character, and especially a back story Favourite D&D/TTRPG moment: Trying to make a plan with my team in a tavern, then shit breaks loose, and people just go along with t, it was awesome 5I want to insist that I wasn't responsible for the breaking loose event.) One thing expected from Myself (DM): Potentially helping me include my back story in your world, as I have ideas but I don't want them to trouble the game and world created. One thing expected from Party (Fellow Players): Chatting, laughing, and mostly talk through plans before going leeroy jenkins in battles ^^
Do you prefer combat-heavy gameplay, roleplay-heavy gameplay, or a mixture of both?: More of a mixture, I love storytelling, so descriptions are a plus, and lore is super important, but a good fight once in a while is nice. Dices don't tend to like me, so if the throws are kept to a minimum, I would love it ^^"
A brief character pitch what you would like to play: I built a Aasimar Phoenix Sorcerer, which I want to have a particular past (prefer to keep this info just in between the GM and I). I know it may sound weird, but there are infos that I would love for only my char and the GM to know, and that these elements could come out during the campaign if the occasion arrises. Anything else you feel important to share: I am a new player at DnD, and even though I believe things won't be too different from what I played before, I should manage I hope :D. I also live in Spain, so that would be perfect timing for me! I have Discord, skype, whatsapp, so we can use whatever medium to chat
Preferred pronoun(s): It Experience with TTRPGs (as a whole): Beginner
Experience with D&D 5th Edition: Beginner Favourite D&D/TTRPG moment: Im new One thing expected from Myself (DM): A great story One thing expected from Party (Fellow Players): Kindness
Do you prefer combat-heavy gameplay, roleplay-heavy gameplay, or a mixture of both?: im cool with whatever
A brief character pitch what you would like to play: My character is a mage that is haunted by what another mage put me through as a slave child. As i grew, the demons inside me grew and i ended up killing the mage that enslaved and tormented me. I spent the next 100 years studying magic spells and mixing potions, trying to figure out a way to get rid of this demon. As the years progressed, i finally figured out that the only way to kill the demons, was to kill other demons, like the mage that made me.. Anything else you feel important to share: im new and would love the chance to start a new campaign with experienced players to help me grow. i can dedicate myself throughly to the group, and im already studying to get my mage right.
Preferred pronoun(s): She/Her Experience with TTRPGs (as a whole): I started playing 2 years ago, and my entire experience as a whole has only been online. After playing in my first ongoing game that ran a good year and a half, I was inspired to DM my own game, which ran a little short of half a year (unfortunately disbanded). I’m currently playing in an ongoing Waterdeep module biweekly on Saturdays and I am running Dragon of Icespire Peak for new players biweekly on Sundays.
Experience with D&D 5th Edition: It’s all I’ve ever played from my experience above. Have never tried any other editions or play styles. Favourite D&D/TTRPG moment: I was playing a very religious Aasimar Paladin (worshipper of the Triad) and our Druid accidentally summoned a portal in a dungeon. From the portal stepped a Large Fiend creature who offered a pact with the Druid right in front of the party and she accepted after being shown the hellish fire of the Fiend. Ever since then, there’s been a constant back and forth rivalry/disagreement between my character and the Druid/Warlock. We RP’d very interesting conversations about each other’s abilities and capabilities. Unfortunately m/c was killed involuntarily due to the other character’s pact- as her commands from her patron was to go to this dangerous dungeon and kill a dying god- she kept it a secret from the party so nobody expected the final boss. One thing expected from Myself (DM): I expect you to deal with any offensive topics that come up that could be inappropriate or triggering to other party members. One thing expected from Party (Fellow Players): I expect them to be patient and respectful, not cutting anyone off or hogging the spotlight and acting as though they are a main character. Giving everyone a turn to keep everyone on track is what I believe to be fair.
Do you prefer combat-heavy gameplay, roleplay-heavy gameplay, or a mixture of both?: Mixture of both
A brief character pitch what you would like to play: Human Variant - Wizard (necromancy) - Criminal
She was once a devoted feline companion to an elderly good witch. Nothing more than an ordinary house cat.
Everything changed when the house cat witnessed her owner being brutally murdered. Sent into a fit of rage, the witch’s cat attacked the man, however he was larger and stronger than her, he grabbed the cat by it’s tail and swung her into a lit lantern, which was knocked over and caused the home to catch on fire.
The cat dropped limp on the floor, beside her owner; the pair was engulfed by flames.
When the cat’s eyes opened again, she was no longer a tiny feline. Her form had changed while she had been “asleep”. Had she been given a second chance? In an appearance much more suitable to take on that wretched man? Was her destiny to take vengeance?
All that she felt was unbridled rage for the one who killed her owner. All she wanted was to avenge her, reveal the ill-doings of this man, and give him a punishment worse than death.
Anything else you feel important to share: Only that the world seems super interesting to play in!
Experience with D&D 5th Edition: Been playing about 5 years a mixture of campaigns and one shots DMed a couple of one shots
Favourite D&D/TTRPG moment: At the end of the first one shot I DMed the party of level 3smet an ancient silver dragon (the quest was to return an artifact to where it came from, there were hints it belonged to a dragon but they didn't know). As I revealed the room on roll 20 one the the players said out of characted "It's a **** white dragon" but on discovering its true colour the way he roleplayed the encounter of novice adventurer encountering such a awe inspiring creature was magnificent.
One thing expected from Myself (DM): A session 0 so we know exactly what to expect (house rules, what is and is not off limits etc) and a great story (sorry that is 2)
One thing expected from Party (Fellow Players): Everyone to actively participate but not dominate the party. PCs to want to work with the rest of the party.
Do you prefer combat-heavy gameplay, roleplay-heavy gameplay, or a mixture of both?: Mixture of both leaning towards combat but roleplay should be to develop the story.
A brief character pitch what you would like to play: I am flexible to fit in the with the party but one idea is a Fiend Warlock who thinks their patron is a celestial. They are intensely jealous of their sibling who is not only brilliant but also athletic. Although not religious in desperation the character cries out to the family god that they will do anything for them if they can outshine their sibling. They get a response from a fiend posing as a celestial who offers to give them magical powers and enable them to become a great adventurer if they promise to serve him.
Anything else you feel important to share: I would prefer Thursdays as I occasionally go away of a weekend from a Friday evening.
