Two players looking for a pirate themed campaign! (warning: homebrew)

General information
Me and my friend are looking for a pirate themed (Pirates of the Caribbean kinda vibes) campaign to join, and we don't even have to be pirates, we just want the aesthetics, but i'm afraid there ain't too many needing more than one player, if at all. We're both pretty experienced players, been in a few campaigns, know the rules well enough (though i'm dumb so i'll occasionally ask just to make sure). I wasn't so sure about a whole pirate thing at first, but he warmed me up to the idea after we came up with a silly, but ultimately cool idea for a char i could play

Time zones and availability
I'm a little short on time due to starting a job on the 23rd, but i got some time on the weekends. Preferably, i'd like to play early or late saterday (11am-4pm early, or 8pm-???am CST), and if we must, a short session mid-sunday or really late sunday (2pm-5pm mid, or 8-9pm-12am CST). My timezone is CST, and my friend's is EST

We use discord to talk in most of the games we're in, so it'd be great if we could use discord for this. We're open to using roll20 for maps and the like, but we won't complain if there isn't any

The dreaded homebrew
Both me and my friend are huge fans of homebrew, and more importantly, making our own. Whether it be magic item ideas, subclasses, interesting mechanics, or races. In this case, it's the first and last in those examples. He wishes to play a demigod race he found online (https://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/Demigod_(5e_Race)), and i wish to play a custom homebrew race which is essentially a goblin sized hermit crab humanoid with a big claw and a few interesting racial abilities

I also like crafting in campaigns, making my own items, magical or mundane, because it makes the item feel really special, even if it cost way more than an off-the-shelf item. Any potential groups are alright to refuse the crafting thing, but i thought it'd be good to put it out there :D

We're open to changes to our homebrew, even a decently huge nerf if need be, as long as it doesn't completely change or ruin the whole concept of the homebrew. We're open to critique on the stuff, and we try to be as respectable about such as we can

Requirements
-Must at least accept the homebrew races (we accept nerfs as long as it doesn't completely destroy what it does, or change it greatly)
-Must be able to play on saterdays (but we're willing to go really late sundays)
