Looking play my first game

i'm new to d&D as well i'm a player but i don't have a phone or discord and i'm currently trying to create a character i live in texas

Nope! My mom, Q and I are going to try out the Familiar campaign from Monday on D&D Beyond - it seemed pretty straightforward and character creation is basic/non existent.

Q really wants me to run Icespire for him, but he definitely needs more PC's to help guide him in the HOW of interactions should work - with NPC's, the environment, etc. 

We are in PST zone, possibly looking to start tonight. Willing to have FRIENDLY HELPFUL people only. I played about 25 years ago and have forgotten everything. He hasn't played at all, to my knowledge. We would like to play online somehow but table top style and dice. We will obviously need help. Willing to pay for DM and sessions.
