We are a group of 5 players (ranging in experience from beginner to veteran) who are passionate about role-play, character driven campaigns, and story rich worlds. We are interested in finding a DM who is up to the challenge of guiding our characters through a world of challenges to overcome.
What we offer:
Enthusiasm, especially about character development throughout the campaign.
High levels of roleplay.
Good mechanic understand of the world.
Not much min-maxing.
Talking to our DM, from character creation about our pasts, to asking our DM if our characters would know something/someone; and giving a lot of background for our DM to have a lot to weave into the campaign as they see fit.
We are team players who actively involve everyone to let them have the spotlight.
We enjoy having fun and hope to have a memorable experience playing our characters.
We understand PCs can die and that it is bound to happen during a long campaign.
What we are looking for:
Story rich enviroment.
Let the players play the game and roleplay with story and mechanic focused encounters.
Allow for a multitude of solutions to problems through creativity.
A DM with the mind-set, 'You want the players to win, but make it hard'.
Don't give the players stuff, but reward them for creative thinking and interesting decisions.
If you want to punish a player for a bad decision, don't leave them out of the game, but allow them or the party to make it right (don't just throw them in jail for the whole session without any RP/encounters).
We use Discord, D&D Beyond (for character sheets) and we want the DM to be able to show player/enemy positions in combat encounters (e.g. Roll20, TableTop Simulator, Foundry VTT, or minis).
