New Tuesday game starting mid September looking for additional player

Game: D&D 5e
Group Type: Online, voice through Discord, Maps through Roll20
Experience: No Experience necessary but comfortable with mechanics would be best
Age: While the game doesn’t always have mature content, I would prefer players be 18+
Location/Time zone: All time zones are welcome as long as able to meet during the time specified
Schedule: Game is scheduled for every Tuesday 8-11 pm EST
Role Sought: Currently looking for one player to fit in with a group of other players, looking to run from level 3-20
Game Style: I am hoping to set a split of 60/30/10 of role play, combat, and puzzles and riddles

Overview of the Game:

You have received a letter. Your old friend is dead. However, you have recently received a letter from them stating that not everything is as it seems. Your past has its hooks in you it seems. The world continues to revolve, and it is up to you to determine what happened. Was your friend being controlled? Were they in on a conspiracy? Was this murder, or an accident? It names other people to look to and now you have a chance. Will you follow the leads or follow the truth?

You will be a level 3 adventurer. You will roll stats with me, and you will be allowed to start with both starting equipment and gold. You will have gold from previous adventures that we will decide upon when you make your character. You will be allowed to have one uncommon item of choice, pending approval. You will also roll an additional item based on the backstory and character concept.

We will do an individual session to figure out your backstory and integrate you into the world. This is based out of Mytandra, a homebrew world with a set group of deities and its own calendar. All the information that you would know will be provided and confirmed with you.

Homebrew must be approved but most official races are allowed. Warforged, Grung, Yuan-ti, Orc, Gith, Ravnica races, Verdan, and Locathah would have to be discussed as well as they have distinct places they hail from in the world. UA will generally be allowed but I reserve the right to check it first until it is official. Critical Role content is allowed.

I am hoping to start this with individual session zeros and then a group introduction. The group session 0 I am hoping to run on September 14 and the official first session would be September 21. I want to be able to build the world out a bit more and make sure I am building the campaign around my plans as well as your character.

I have been DMing for about 2 years now and have spent a lot of that making and utilizing homebrew worlds and some house rules. I will go over these rules during session 0 once you are accepted into the game.

I have played one starter campaign just a few sessions with low level characters. I also have played one campaign that was interrupted by Covid, and that one lasted for nearly half a year, of weekly meetings. I mostly play a ranger so that is what I'm familiar with but I'm interested in playing a fighter, or warlock hex blade. I'm familiar with the rules and while spell casting is not something I've done much with I have done a bit as a ranger.
