For the first time in a decade, the mists have reopened, beckoning a chosen few. Accomplished individuals from throughout Faerun received strange dreams from a woman inviting them to seek their fortunes at Tser Pool, and soon found themselves in Barovia, the domain of Count Strahd von Zarovich. Count Strahd is considered a heavy-handed, domineering ruler at best, and the devil himself at worst. He looms large over this land, and none can long escape his notice.

Within this bleak, twisted, and hostile landscape, our adventurers quickly met with the family of the Burgomaster of a village also named Barovia. The Burgomaster’s ancestors recorded the arrival of previous groups of adventurers in Barovia and their notable accomplishments. Irène Kolyâne, adopted daughter of the recently-deceased Burgomaster, sought the assistance of our adventurers to escort her across Barovia to the Abbey at Krezk. Along the way, their fortunes were told at the Vistani encampment at Tser Pool by Madame Eva, a renowned seer. Darkness oppresses Barovia - a darkness our adventurers are seeing more and more clearly with each day here. If they can fulfil the fortunes told by Madame Eva, they can bring a new dawn to Barovia. Perhaps then they will be free to return home.

ABOUT POLYHEDRA

• We are a team of a handful of highly dedicated DMs with over a decade of combined DMing experience, including homebrew and adventure module settings.

GAME DETAILS

• 6 Player virtual tabletop (Foundry VTT).

• Level 4.

• 3-4 hours of gameplay per session.

• Player’s Choice for character creation: Standard Array (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8) or Pointbuy.

• Private, boosted Discord server with voice and video (by DM) - players only need a working microphone and headset.

• Foundry Virtual Tabletop, including animated maps, individualized hot bars for each player, animated tokens, and more.

• Individualized creation chats with each player (available beginning now and through the first session of the campaign) where we will handcraft your PC's origins, background, and campaign-shaping plot points. NO CHARGE

• Character creation will be possible through D&D Beyond (access to the legendary package) and dedicated Foundry VTT Server.

CONTENT DETAILS

• Class, Feats, Backgrounds from any official sourcebooks, including Unearthed Arcana. Homebrew dependent on DM permission.

CODE OF CONDUCT

• By becoming part of the community server, and my games, you agree to abide by the rules delineated therein.

• Be respectful of other players and myself at all times, even between sessions.

• All people are welcome, regardless of sex, gender, sexual orientation, minority status, language skill, etc.

• This game is for players of 18 years of age or older.

• Payment of the game fee secures your seat for the scheduled game that week. Payment is due the Monday before a session is scheduled. No refunds, unless specifically agreed upon by the DM.

• No streaming of the session without express consent. Violation may result in a kick and ban from Polyhedra games, and possible legal liability.

• Polyhedra reserves the right to screen, add, remove, or otherwise "manage" players in the game for whatever reason, but will automatically remove any player who upon warning continues to violate the terms of the CoC.
