SYNOPSIS:

North of the Spine of the World is a frigid expanse few dare to explore, let alone inhabit. This icy land of windswept tundra recently became locked in a perpetual dark winter without reprieve. Auril the Frostmaiden, the divine embodiment of winter's fury, has withdrawn to this cold corner of the world to live among mortals.

With her arrival, came what is known by the locals as “The everlasting rime” - a powerful magic that prevents the next day's sun from rising above the horizon, turning midday into twilight and trapping Icewind Dale in winter's dark embrace, with no sunlight or warmth to melt the snow and ice.

You find yourself stuck in the Dale where a recent cult uprising has taken the ears of many town speakers. These members preach the rebirth of Ten-Towns through Auril’s blessing as she has cast this endless winter as a form of natural selection.  

GAME DETAILS:

• 4 - 6 players
• Experience: All levels of experience are welcome
• Short campaign should run from level 1 to 10
• Session ZERO is on 09/08/21 and will be $5 (subsequent games are $15 USD per session via startplaying.games)
• Weekly 3 hours sessions, including a 10 min break
• Start time: Wednesday's at 10:00pm EST/ 9:00pm CST/ 7:00pm PST
• Voice chat is required via Discord.

CODE OF CONDUCT:

• NO Bullying, hazing, or otherwise picking on a fellow character. You are a team and as such will treat each other with respect.
• NO Torturing or slaving captured NPCs
• NO Sexual content (sweet talking may be used as a form of persuasion but ONLY with NPCs)
• NO Shutting down other players ideas or actions.
• Each player has a chance to voice their thoughts or intent. If you say "My character will try..." then we will play out the outcome. If you ask the party for their opinion, then that action can be decided upon by the group (in or out of character). There are no wrong answer or suggestions.
