Game: D&D 5e Group type: Face-to-face Experience: New / a few years / veteran Location/Timezone: Tucson, Arizona Schedule: Every other Sunday, around 4pm or 5pm. Roles sought: Players, most likely needing 3 or 4 more. Game style: Roleplay and travel. Still new to DM'ing, looking to try out new things and do a grand homebrew campaign. Planning session 0 to be on September 19th if possible. Likely go from level 1 to at least 10+. Focus will be on one of two things depending on player preference. Either...
A.) the group finds an object that needs to be delivered half of the world away, and will never stay in one place for too long. Good for those that like to explore new places, or wishes that there was more camping/travel/new places in their campaigns rather than always being in same place. Emphasis on group's choices on which direction to travel, and how they'd travel. (Note... possible to play evil characters in this campaign, if group can get along despite a variety of alignments.)
B.) when Karwellyn disappears, she sends a letter to random "old friends" who do not know each other. These old friends stumble upon inheriting her nearing-bankruptcy guild, while also trying to uncover the mystery of what happened to their friend Karwellyn. This story focuses on developing guild-relations, and characters interacting in a city of great power/potential, but equal demands. Feel free to hire people within the guild, run a business out of it, gain apprentices, construct workshops, and develop during downtime.
