New Player looking for a Group to Play his very first D&D game!

Hello,

I have recently gotten into D&D and created my first character (a human fighter) with the final edit of my backstory just about finished.  I have been meaning to do my first game IRL, however the unfortunate combination of Covid 19 and my recent moving to a new city has eliminated any potential friends i may have had to play with so i am hoping that someone within this forum and website would be willing to welcome me into their group to both teach and have me as a player in their group.  I would likely consider myself to be a very casual player looking to have a fun time with everyone involved and while i haven't really tried role-playing yet, i would welcome the opportunity to try it for the first time as well as maybe get some pointers along the way. I am also fairly available on the weekdays but my weekends are the most likely to be open for game times.

I am unsure of what else to add here but i hope that it would be enough to pique the interest of whoever maybe in need of players. Also, feel free to ask me any questions you may have of me as they may be things that, as i have mentioned before, i have neglected to mention during the time of me typing this.

I reside within Mountain Daylight Time, GMT-6 i believe, and i am 24 years old.
