Hi, I'm a 29-year-old player who's been in three campaigns and completed one (left one because it got too grim/bleak, the other just kinda died from DM burnout), and I haven't played D&D in a couple of months. I'm open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and in EST/EDT timezone. I'm looking for an LGBTQIA+ friendly campaign because I'm an ally of the community who's currently questioning whether I'm straight or bisexual. I'm a he/him, and I have a character concept I've been wanting to play for a while. Her name is Akane and she's a Hobgoblin Monk (she's in my avatar); I was going to make her a Drunken Master but I ended up leaning more towards an Open Hand Monk. She was orphaned at a young age, became a thief/gang member to survive and was taken in by a master monk who she tried to pickpocket and she left her criminal past behind. However, shortly before she finished her training, her sensei was killed on the orders of the gangster who ran the gang she was part of, and she's trying to track him down to avenge her master. She's snarky, a bit flippant, and tends to be a bit rebellious and crass. She's Chaotic Good, though, and will always try and do the right thing (I don't play non-Good characters).
