Hi, my name is Dawn. I love school, writing, and animals. If I were a character I would be a chaotic good homebrew race of some sort and a weird class that nobodies ever heard of. Or I wouldn't be an adventurer, I would just man the first-ever dnd pet shop and do my exploring in the form of searching for animals. I am LDS. I'm a high school student. hmm, that about covers me, I think. I look forward to being your dungeon master! Oh, I also lose my train of thought really easily.

Rules:

• We will meet on Saturdays from 2 pm to 3:45. I can't really go overtime I have another game after that.
• We will all (including me) have 2 characters.
• This is expected to be clean. No swearing or inappropriate conduct.
• If your post could be triggering, please put a trigger warning with a note why at the top of the post, ex. TW: Suicide, or something. (also maybe ask if the topic is acceptable first)
• In-game relationships with other characters or NPCs are not allowed. It makes things complicated and could lead to inappropriate conduct.

Ok, so heres the relavant part. You were all in Neverwinter for whatever reason and you heard a booming nearby. Out of curiosity, stupidity, or heroism, you investigated. You all congregate in the same area, but with the booming continuing didn't stop for introductions. You continued to the top of a hill overlooking a valley with a group of drow in broad daylight digging away at the earth. You begin to see something from inside but then the valley is coated in a thick fog and everyone who doesn't have fey ancestry instantly fell asleep.

When you woke up Neverwinter was gone. In fact, everything was. The lay of the land was different. Somehow... you were teleported.

I'd totally be down with that. I know the pain of losing your train of thought though. :) What time zone would this be in? (I'm also a HS student without Discord.) I'm EST. However, I'm usually up until 10:30 PM anyways.

I might be interested in participating, I've never done play-by-post before and it's something I'd like to try. Like the poster above I'd need to know what time zone that's in since I have an odd sleep schedule and another game on Saturday.

Amarise, if you dont know what you want your characters to be i would suggest a magic user and a healer, but its up to you. we have 2 tanks and 2 rogues.

I'm not busy this Saturday. I can change my classes if you want. I haven't played in  a while, and it was usually Person to Person, but I'm always willing to try new things. If you do want me to change classes, let me know. I don't have any particular preference, since I just did two one-offs, and I played a ranger and a paladin.

Ummmm I'm on MDT, is that ok? If you don't know because I travel between EST and MDT and my friends still don't remember after YEARS that EST is two hours ahead, I just thought I'd explain it if you didn't already know. Also I've never played before but I'm also Lds(if you mean LDS as in mormon) so no need to worry about swearing from me.

Sure, like I said I've never done play-by-post so I'm not sure how everything works. Am I supposed to contact you with my character ideas, post them here, or simply join your campaign with two characters? Also, I only own the books as physical copies, and the classes I was hoping to play were Aberrant Mind Sorc and Fathomless Warlock (Both from TCoE) so I'm not entirely sure how that would work here. (I've only ever played on Roll20 before)

Amarise, go to this link and add two characters. Then go to this link, and read the info detailed there. Make sure you scroll all the way down. I think we're introducing our characters there for now. (EchoFrost, feel free to correct me.) 

Subclasses arent always free, if you use the free version you maybe wont get the subclasses you want, amarisse.

and ok, if everybody can check in at the forum we'll be using we should be good to go for saturday. 

Dragondm2004, yeah if you can join at the same time as the rest of us you're good.

I'll have to bow out, then. I can't afford to purchase any of the content here, and if there's no way to put content you own into a blank sheet a la Roll20 I'll have to stick with that site for now. Good luck to you all, hope you have a great time. :)

you can effectivly use the free version, i do. and theres always homebrew, upon which i lean heavily.
