I have 2 players already who who are in this group , A rogue, and a Monk. We had 2 players who left just as we started session 1 on us so we are looking to replace them.
All players will need to use ROLL 20 for rolling. Generally not a good system for tablet players. We build our characters using special ability score buy. There are no GUN weapons in this game world. Artificer features are extremely limited. Due to this world uses a Monster hunter crafting, and armor build system.(aka build your own armor, and weapon) Normal magical items can be found, and even upgraded with this system.
Plan is to run through a homebrew retelling of LOST MINES OF PHANDELVER for the kick off then move onto the rest of the homebrew world. [Alcadeias]

The modal of Lost mines of Phandelver has been rewritten to fit this world. Rewritten as in Names have been changed, creatures changed and adapted to this worlds lore, Locations also renamed, and put in locations fitting to this worlds lore, and some story elements also changed to express the overall world.
If you already know the modal you will be asked to please not spoil thing for the rest of the group, and keep questions to private conversations with DM only.
I also ask that you please don't meta the maps, for the dungeons themselves have not changed.
Session 0, starts up Sun - Oct 17th at 5pm PST. (CST 7pm/ EST 8pm)

-world backstory snippet-
A few millennia after slaying the Titans ( a race of beings that came before them) a Pantheon of gods created this world. They dreamed of making an existence where the new found life forms could exist (mortals). Believing that one day these beings would, like they did, gain the ability to overthrow them. Seeking to nurture them, they used their power to build this world, infusing it with their will so that it may sustain life. The Pantheons goal was to be better then the Titans who where cruel to them. However there were a group of gods that opposed the idea. Believing that the mortals real purpose was empower the gods through worship, and devouring their souls. This faction of gods who would not assist with the creation of this world eventually be known as the Devils. Seeing conflict coming the gods and devils created army's of minions to assist them in battle. Gods creating Angles, personifications of their domains, and the Devils created demons reflections of their twisted dark desires. It wasn't long after the world was created, and the mortals started taking root on it that conflict happened. The mortals called it "the great war" and it took place around 10,000 before present day.
However more recently, (500 years) a group of mortals took up arms to fight against one of the gods who planed on converting the world into his own power . Doing so he would not only consume the power that the world had to offer ( now being an grand font of magic ) but also powers of the Gods, and Devils alike. However despite his efforts the mad god was defeated. Slain by a band of mortals who managed to take back the flow of power that was stolen from the world. Using it to empower a champion of their choosing changing him into a new god. A hero god who's powers engraved his will into the fabric of the universe itself, making it so no god or devil can directly effect the mortal world by their own hand. Forcing both the divine, and damned alike to rely on their vassals to enforce their will. In this new age mortals worship the Angles as well as the god that they represent. This has given the Angels the power to fulfill the prayers. After these events the mortals where made aware of the world as a whole and the vast ever expanding universe beyond. They then gave their world a name, the same name as the newly formed god who saved them. ( Alcadeias )
However the remains of the slain god fell and scattered over the planet. Over time his flesh and blood crystalized into purple gems the largest piece remaining was his heart. The world is now infested it with unnatural arcane magic. Giving the Demon worshiping cults fuel to pursue their dark ambitions, and mutating the lands, with the creatures inhabiting it.
