Newish player looking to join regular group

Hey All, newish player looking for RP/combat balanced games but keen to give anything a go. Have done lots of reading to understand game mechanics, and roleplay aspects. Keen and dedicated to learn more.

Would like to play 1-2 times per week.

Game: D&D 5e
Group preferred: Face-to-face or Online
Experience: Played Phandelver and early in Storm king's thunder
Location/Timezone: Sunshine Coast, Australia. AEST (GMT+10)
Availability: Evenings but not Wednesday and Friday.
Preferred role: Player
Game style: looking for a balanced combination of roleplay and hack'n'slash. Keen to give anything a go.

I'm based in Syd and keen to play 1-2 times a fortnight, flexible on days/times (until I go back to work). Keen to learn more about the game and mechanics. Give me a shout if/when you find a group!
