Time Zones: One of the player’s is in the UK and this is why I have UK times listed. This is also why the game is so early in the morning for the US. 

Horror Disclaimer: Types of Horror used in this one shot include, Body Horror, Slasher, and elements of Psychological horror.  Horror in my games are presented as audio descriptions so no visual representations of body horror are used outside of peoples imaginations. 

Story Summary 

Two weeks ago you received a letter from a curiously dressed courier. He wore a rather long top hat with a green feather in his cap, charcoal grey gloves, and a rather dashing suit. He didn’t utter a single word. He simply knocked on your door, gave a deep bow and handed you the sealed letter. The wax seal had the letter “A” pressed into it. The letter much to your surprise was an invitation to a rather famous, albeit, secluded resort named The Alastroi. According to the letter you had reservation’s during the summer but due to overbooking it was impossible for you to actually attend. However, now that it is in it’s off season, and normally during off season they are closed to the public. However, they are permitting you a winter stay of 3 weeks. A carriage shall pick you up a fortnight from now at 2pm sharp. The last line however does inform you that there may be others inside the carriage and apologises that the trip won’t be a private one. 

Summary / Expectations 

This is a one shot created by myself and is designed to only last 4 hours but could go a little longer (or shorter) depending on player choices. This game is first and foremost a game. As such the goal is to have fun along with having spine tingling scares along the way. The story is no more mature than your average horror movie such as The Thing, IT, or Friday The 13th.

As with all games there is a bit of a buy in. I do voices for NPC’s and find ambience tracks to create a mood. I would love for my players to also do voices but that is not mandatory. However, please don’t call out others for choosing to create a voice or laugh at other’s voices. Please be respectful to everyone at the table. 

This game will be using the Survivor classes instead of classes from the Players Hand Guide. Survivors will be level 3. If you would like to play but do not own the Ravenloft Guide book you can still play as I will provide the class information.

Also as a quick note. The game already has 2 players and this is why I’m only looking for 2 more players.
