I've been playing dnd for about 2 years now. Ive ran curse of strahd once and ran a heavily homebrewed party through it once. I'm looking for a fun group to play with, so I can meet more people who play dnd. Aside from dnd, I've also played some dungeon crawl classics and pathfinder. I love having PC's that are superpowered and allow me the chance to pull out some of the high CR monsters. Below is my rules for character creation. All I ask from you if you are interested in the game is a personal message on here telling me a little about yourself and your experience with ttrpg's, and a basic idea on your character. Also add the game, group type and so on info posted below. I'm generally more combat heavy with my games, but I do enjoy having some backstory to make the current scenario make sense. I would like to run the game sometime this Wednesday evening. I can't wait to meet new gamers!
Any official dnd content is allowed. All homebrew must be approved by me. Characters will be level 3 for the entire story. Use standard point buy and then after you have finished you have 4 points to add to any of the stats (max 20). Each character starts with 1 uncommon magic item. You can also add something special about your character. This could include but is not limited to lycanthropy, element powers, improved racial traits, modified racial traits or mixed races, or anything fun that you want to add that will mechanically change the character. Since we are only at level 3 the bonus will be fairly small; I'll try to balance it, but no promises.
