Game: D&D 5e Group type: Face-to-face Experience: I'm an Experienced DM. Open to new, experienced, or veteran players. Location: Will be gaming at a LGS in the DFW area. specific location to be determined by the group. Schedule: Looking to play 1 or 2 Saturdays a month. I have an open schedule past noon on Saturdays. Roles sought: 3 to 4 players Game style: I am a wargamer, so I have a focus on hack n' slash, but I try to incorporate roleplay into my campaigns. I try to keep combat encounters as dynamic as I can.
Looking to Start with Lost Mine of Phandelver or Dragon of Icespire Peak (party's choice) and if the group goes well after this I'll work on a campaign to build off of these modules.
I am a new player located in the Dallas area, and I am looking for my first D&D group to join. Because I am so new to D&D, I don't know what my preferred game styles are yet, but I like the sound of hack n' slash and I am open to other types as well. Saturdays work great for me! Is there anything else you need to know?
I am a slightly experienced player in the Dallas area. I do considered myself to be kinda “new” as I’ve only ever played in 2 campaigns; so I’m not very experienced with a lot of playing styles. I have been in one campaign for about a year and a half as a wild magic sorcerer. The other was a couple week long “one-shot” as a fighter. I would like to explore a more combat focused/hack-and-slash campaign! Being a magic user in a role-playing heavy campaign is fun, but sometimes I just wanna hit stuff!
Saturdays also work great for me! I would like a campaign where we would be meeting up in a public space though, as I have had a bad experience meeting for a Session 0 at someone’s house. I’ve heard good things about meeting at Half-Price Books in Dallas and Madness Comics in Plano was the location for the one-shot I was in. It has a large amount of tables setup for DnD and Magic players so it is easy to spread out and get comfortable for playing.

Are you still open for players to join? My wife and I live in Fort Worth and are open to hosting games at our home. Saturday works well for both of us. We do have kids and would need to take occasional pit stops and breaks to deal with that nonsense. I am moderately experienced player and my wife is just starting. As i see this OP is 18 months old i understand if life or play has changed your need to look.
