Icewind Dale / Frostpunk - Friday 4pm-7pm MST

"We Roamed the Stale, Cold World, no horizon in sight... The rulers of old, Stripped of Pride and Glory. It feels as yesterday we were turning the wheels of progress, until the frost stopped it all. When tides have changed they changed for all of us, no matter wealth or class. We've lost our world to snow. With it, our last traces of humanity.

We bid farewell to plenty and for those who remained came the time to adapt. We decided to leave our homes and head north. We roamed for weeks maybe months, leaving behind all the things we believed once made us.

It was hope that pushed us forward. Slowly, step by step, we knew the cost of our journey and we paid the price a hundred times. Finally the time has come, to build the Last City... The city, must survive."

For those who noticed this is Icewind Dale but with a small twist and mixed with Frostpunk. The time era is roughly 1886, steampunk technology is a thing as well as firearm weaponry. Ten towns are slightly different given they have massive generators that power the cities as well as Some additional buildings which do have a purpose for each town.

A city that has a Steelworks provides minimum for any weapon upgrades and what's available to be purchased compared to a city that has a Steam or Advanced Stselworks. Staying at a Medical Post provides less benefits and heals less than staying at a Hospital or Infirmary. There will also be 3 new towns added to the game as well, Winterhome, New Liverpool, and New London.

Rules

This is an 18+ Game, adults only, this includes your character

Discord will be used for Group Chats and Roll20 for visuals and character sheets

Stats will be rolled, everyone will roll 1 time for stats then everyone will pick 1 set of stats to use so we all have the same stats to use.

This will be more Roleplay focused unless you all want to hurry and get through this ordeal then it'll be combat focused

Leveling are through Milestones, not XP

Health is rolled, reroll 1s 2s, Barbarians reroll 3s

You all start with the Lucky Feat (you'll need it)

Be expected to witness dark themes, if you've played Frostpunk, you know what to expect, if you haven't played Frostpunk just know it's a twisted game where there are no good choices. Only bad and worse.

Experience with D&D and Roll20: ~3 years. Roll20 combat fluency (never built my Character Sheet there though) and solid understanding of D&D 5e (although there is always more to learn)

Play Style: I tend to enjoy playing 'Face' PCs ranging from confident eloquence to zany rambunctiousness. OOC I enjoy tactical and strategic thinking but in-game try to stay true to character and keep decisions grounded in RP. My goal is fun through immersion.
