DM Looking for D&D RP group

Hello and welcome one and all.

Welcome to the shores of Oshara, a medium sized island situated in the middle of the Max tide sea, where the light dances across the water and if it catches a sailor in the eye the wrong way it might sink his ship. Where the sand is soft beneath your feet, so make sure to look out for sinkholes. Where the city’s that sprang up along the coast line are dazzling and full of music and the smell of food, but under the beautiful facade criminals are killing each other over territory well the king and queen are being poisoned on the throne but by who.

And you who are you? Are you a pirate, outlawed by the royal family? A scholar looking for the treasures of the past to unlock the future? A sailor lost at sea? A shop keep who lost everything to an underground gang leader? A lady of the court who wants to find the missing princess and bring her home before her parents die?

There are things you will learn about this land and these people, if your interested enough to find out for yourself.

Experience: i have been playing d&d as well as several other role playing games for about 5 years now, I started DMing one shots about 2 years ago, but never got a group together.

Game style: I go heavy on the role play, bonus points to other people who also go heavy on the role play, I am a published author and enjoy writing, so having a constant stream of world building and ideas.

Hey there!  Finally someone bringing some 'art' to role-playing.  I'd like in, if you still have some room.

Group preferred: Face-to-face preferred, but if you're in CST, on-line will have to do!
Experience: Advanced (4 decades in TTRPGs spanning over a dozen mechanics)
Location/Timezone: PA, USA - EST
Availability: I'm a working man so weekday eves & weekends are good.

Game style: I'd like to call my preferred style "Hardcore & gritty role-play".  I don't want to play a class & set of stats.  I create 'real 3D people' and then try to be true to them, but also keep in mind that this is a co-op game.  I'm OK with some inter-character friction, but I certainly don't want to be that guy at the table.  It has to be tri-mutual, me the other PC(s) and the GM (I'm not gonna bother trying to RP with a murder hobo).  I like combat as much as they next guy, but what I really enjoy is the drama that co-operative story telling can create.

Game style: I prefer heavy roleplaying. Combat/puzzles and such are great to keep it fun for everyone. I try to look at the game from a performers or writers perspective. Keep the pace, push the plot forward, act with intention etc. Its a narrative game but a game, so have fun. I would like to eventually join a diverse and creative group who enjoy telling stories.
