Ah, yes. The Windows. Argument has been made over who first designed these, but they have gained immense popularity since their original installation. The first depicts Cades, surrounded by oceans and crashing waves. The second is Loherin, dancing on a cliffs edge with her tomes swaying with her. As for the last... this one is far more open to interpretation. -High Dour of the Cathedral of Three
Heyo and Welcome to Thanasis.
The campaign has been ongoing for a few months but one of the players recently dropped out and we're looking for a 5th person to take the chair. The sessions are on the first three Sundays of the month at 7:30pm EST. Looking for players with a comfortable amount of experience in Dnd as well as players who are 21+ due to the comedic nature of the campaign. You will be playing a Level 11 character. The whole group is very chill and relaxed with everyone just here to have a fun time. It's a semi-open world/semi-oneshot style campaign in a new world that I created for everyone. There's a whole country for you to explore, and there is an overarching plot, but it shifts back and forth between the two styles depending on PC decisions, what I have prepared, how long a particular quest might go on and the interest from the players. If you like that kinda stuff then I'll lean into it. I'm a very flexible DM and I generally let my players get away with a lot. I've got all the official sourcebooks (sans Fizbans) and a Master Subscription so I can share all the character creation options as well. The last player had a really interesting/funny hook to his character (as do all of them) so we're looking for someone who is both interested in that type of thing but also has some cool ideas that they can bring to the table. Nothing goes to an extreme, it's mostly all just flavoring and personality quirks. I don't wanna give too much away from the players who are currently still around, but the guy who left was a soap maker. He would take various parts from the enemies he killed and would attempt to make soap out of them. Went so far that I ended up making a soap crafting skill for him as well as recipes that he could go for to provide bonuses/buffs. Point being that I work with my players so everyone is having fun and no one feels left out and so I don't burn myself out.
There are only two limitations in the campaign. The first revolves around Dragonborns. All colors exist, but Gem Dragonborns (pre-Fizbans variant) are around here as well. Little less common but not enormously so. Sapphire scaled dragonborn are offlimits however as they're used as a physical indicator of royal blood in this world. If you're interested you could try to go for it, but I'd need a captivating backstory or hook to allow it. The other limitation is that the monk class isn't allowed. It's a 100% petty and stupid reason so I won't bother trying to argue it. Otherwise everything else is a-ok. If you wanna play a homebrew race or sub-class, I'm also totally fine with that. I just gotta take a look ahead of time to make sure it fits and isn't broken or absurd.
Outside of those limitations, you can play any race or any class. The party is currently well balanced and the slot can be filled by pretty much anything. We have a Human Vengeance Paladin, Halfling Shadow Sorcerer, Tiefling Battlemaster Bard, and an Elven Soul Knife Rogue. Storywise the group is finishing up a quest at the moment so there is a discussion to be had there on what we'll be doing going forwards but you'll be able to be part of that conversation.
If you're interested, please just drop me a line with your age, level of base experience and why you're interested. We can have a bit of a chat and if all goes well, you can meet the rest of the group. If they all agree and it feels right, then you're down and part of the group. Name currently pending. If you want some random quotes from a couple of the players...
"This Campaign literally runs the gamut from killing joke bosses to slaying big badasses." - Libretto the Bard
"Yeah the story is great and all, but we fought Actual Cannibal Shia LeBeouf." - Sir Deletius the Paladin
"I SHARED A DRINK WITH A GOD." - Lord Chestingfield von Constorto El Aladrel Katt Kellar the Departed Fighter
Hi there! My name is Panic!AtTheWritingDesk! I'm an eighteen year old college freshman with very little experience who is really interested in getting back into playing dnd. I used to play with a group of kids from my physics class in highschool, but we disbanded when each of us got too busy with school. I miss it a lot, and feel like a once weekly dose of something I can look forward to would be highly beneficial for me. I understand that my lack of dnd knowledge may be off-putting to an entire group of people who are used to the game and who play together regularly, but I figured it would be worth a shot! I must forewarn, however, that classes have turned me into a scatter brained squirrel, so organising and taking notes and being on top of things that aren't school could be difficult for me.
Anyhow, I hope you find who you are looking for and have a wonderful day!
Edit: I might also add that an online session would be the only way I might be able to play.
Hello there! My name is Dream Ryver, although everyone calls me Dream, and I am a 20-year-old college student. I'm moderately experienced with D&D, and I've been both a DM and player. However, I have only ever DMed one-shots since my previous party had a lot of schedule conflicts. In some of the one-shots, I've had my players fight serious monsters, such as a Drider controlling a whole tavern of her previous victims; And I've also had them fight Bowsette and Siren Head in a Cabin in the Woods inspired setting. I've been looking for a group that is a blend between the rich moments of meeting Gods and Dragons; Also with the element of chaotic characters befriending a skeleton because he has a cool hat or having a party with a clan of satyrs. My previous party was EST, so I'm used to adjusting my schedule to play. I'm very flexible with my schedule, so I'm always down to play whenever I can. I've got a couple of characters already premade, such as a Catfolk necromancer with a go-getting attitude and amnesia, a variant human fighter who was raised by wolves and is always with his goblin best friend, and several other characters that I've been looking forward to playing. But I'm always open to making a new character that would fit the world more.
My discord is Dream_Ryver#3354. If the spot is still open, I would love to join and share drinks with the Gods after we slay cannibal Shia LeBoufs.
Hello! The name's Gralient, though I do go by others. I'm a soon to be 26 year old factory worker that has been playing D&D on and off since 2001, both as a player and as a DM. I have been known to make joke characters or serious characters depending on what style of game it is, such as a Kenku that could only mimic animal noises or a no nonsense Goliath Sorcerer/Paladin that swore to destroy the evil source of magic in his city.....(It turned out to be himself) Even if you don't choose me I hope you find who you're looking for ::::)
I go by CelticBlackWolf and I am a 25 year old college graduate looking to play again.
I have very little experience and have only played like 4-5 sessions that were an hour to two each. My brother was learning to DM with the family before. Leaving for college.
I live in CDT (GMT-5) so I will be an hour behind you.
I am interested because you sound like a fun group! I also REALLY want to play again.
I don't blame you wanting to play again, but this campaign is fairly high level and you'd need a comfortable amount of Dnd experience to be able to get through a lot of what's happening. Sorry man, but I'm sure you'll be able to find a campaign no issue!
Hey I would very much be interested in playing. I am 23. I played 4 year long campaign back in high school and a couple one shots after that. I would like to know if this is IRL or online and I'm free every Sunday
