Intelligent Dungeon Master recently played through a series of DMs Guild solo modules and I was impressed by how good they were. While they are generally meant to be solo (with no DM), a DM can definitely run someone through them. I want to run someone through the first in the series – The Death Knight’s Squire. This will be played using the free Google Chrome extension – AboveVTT. This thing is amazing (especially for DM) if you haven’t seen it before. You can Google it on YouTube. It’s a simple Google Chrome extension that allows you to do everything straight through you D&D Beyond character sheet and/or campaign. We will also be communicating by voice and/or WebCam. I haven’t decided which voice app we would use (I don’t have a personal discord).
You will need a Level 2 character, preferably one rolled brand-new for this adventure. No evil characters (wouldn’t make sense in the story of this module). No murder hoboing :-)
You will have access to the material available in Volo’s, Xanathar’s, Tasha’s and Waterdeep. You are to equip your character with the basic equipment for their class. On top of this you will have 150 GP to buy whatever you want from the equipment section of the Player’s Handbook.
We can do a modest Session 0 if you want or I can simply review your character sheet after you put it together.
You can do point buy for abilities or do the 4d6 method under my online supervision. I’m not particularly harsh but I am fair. If you were to roll horribly for your abilities, for example, I would probably let you re-roll at least one of them.
This is the first in a series of solo adventures but right now I’m only ready to run this one. I’m not certain, but it seems likely it could be done in one 4-hour session. If you survive, you will level. This series of solo modules is not easy, however, and death is a real possibility – particularly if you hit 0 HP with no one else around but the enemy :-)
Newbies are welcome but you really should have at least a LITTLE bit of game-playing experience to reduce the likelihood of a quick death :-)
Drinking a potion takes a full action and homebrew flanking will be +2 to attack, instead of advantage. Otherwise, I will generally try to be RAW.
I ask that you be reliable and responsible when it comes to keeping any appointments we make. Not looking for any rules lawyers. I will do my best and I will be fair but I am the DM.
This should be interesting. I look forward to your responses.

Just to clarify – this is not a paid game.
Ok Vexeen, I'll send you a message
I would love to try out a 1 on 1 module as I have never done it before but am willing to learn and try it out. My discord is Scardmachine215#0960
