Brand New Player seeking Online Group willing to teach

Hi All, 

As the title suggests, I am brand new to TTRPG/DnD style games but have always been fascinated. I understand the basic mechanics and character creation but definitely happy to be guided. 

Game: D&D 5e
Group preferred: Online
Experience: New 
Location/Timezone: Brisbane, Australia 
Availability: - Monday - Thursday 9am AEST - 4pm AEST (Sunday -Wednesday 7pm - 2am for the folk on Eastern Time) 
Preferred role: Player - happy to fulfill any role within a party
Game style: Happy to be as hardcore as you like. Preferably at least a fortnightly game but happy to consider a monthly group too.
