Newer player looking for group/to form a group with home brew story

Game: D&D 5e
Group preferred: Online
Experience: New, familiar with the basics of the game like character creation and basic rp and combat
Location/Timezone: EST Toronto area
Availability: looking for Wednesdays anytime after 2pm. With possibility of scheduling changes depending on my weekly work schedule. 
Preferred role: Player
Game style: looking for a mix of heavy rp with exploration and combat. Prefer high fantasy with home brew story/campaign. 

I’ve tried to get into the game before but unfortunately no campaign has made it past the first couple sessions. So I’m hoping to find a group of players willing to add a newbie or even possibly creating a group with anyone in a similar situation.
